Let’s see what’s in the July 2017 Degustabox!
As always, everything was shipped in a big box with the Degustabox logo on the side.
A peek inside!
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Mrs. Thinsters Brownie Batter Cookie Thins ($2.99)
These thin & crispy cookies are made with all natural ingredients including brown sugar, butter, cocoa, and eggs. They’re also peanut allergen friendly, corn syrup free, and non-GMO. The package suggests saving all of the broken pieces at the bottom of the bag to use as an ice cream topping. Smart!
Mutti Tomato Sauce ($2.29)
This 100% Italian tomato sauce is made with ripe tomatoes harvested at their peak and processed immediately. The sauce is free of skins and seeds, making it extra smooth and creamy. It also contains a blend of chili peppers, basil, and other spices for a ready-to-use topping for pasta or base for other Italian dishes.
Wise Sea Salt Popcorn ($1.50)
Reduced fat, air-popped popcorn with just 70 calories per bag. Gluten-free and vegan-friendly! I’m always happy to have these convenient single-serve bags of popcorn on hand for snack cravings.
Wise Cinnabon Popcorn ($1.50)
For something a little sweeter, they also included two bags of Cinnabon cinnamon roll flavored popcorn. Surprisingly, these only have 80 calories per bag.
King Arthur Flour Essential Goodness Cookie Mix ($4.99)
I was so excited to read the ingredients and find out that this cookie mix was vegan-friendly! 😀 Not only that, but it’s also free of artificial flavors, preservatives, colors, and corn syrup. Oh, and GMOs too! Just mix with 1 stick of butter & 1 egg and you’re good to go. Can’t wait to try these!
KALA Tropical Curry Beans ($3.99)
A big ol’ bag of roasted fava beans flavored with curry spice and lime juice. These are gluten-free, vegan friendly and a good source of both protein & fiber. I actually received a smaller sample of this same flavor in another box, but have yet to give it a try. The reviews on Amazon are pretty mixed, so I’m a little nervous.
Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil ($3.99)
I love when Degustabox includes pantry staples like this extra virgin olive oil. It’s something we use quite frequently, so it’s nice to have a bottle ready for when our current one runs out. We’ve actually never tried Goya’s version, which is apparently award-winning. Looking forward to giving it a taste. 🙂
Vermont Smoke & Cure Cracked Pepper Beef & Pork Sticks ($3.98)
A low carb, low calorie meat snack made from beef & pork raised free of antibiotics or added hormones. Each stick has 6 grams of protein, 0 grams of carbs, and just 80 calories.
Karma Wellness Water ($1.99)
Açai and pomegranate flavored spring water that keeps its vitamins & minerals fresh inside its cap until you’re ready to mix them. To release them, just “peel, push, and shake”. The drink provides an excellent source of seven essential vitamins — A, B3-Niacin, B5, B6, B12, D, and E. It’s also gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan friendly.
Waffle Waffle Buttery Vanilla Waffle ($1.79)
Yes, there are 3 “waffle’s” in that name. 😉 This sweet treat doesn’t require any syrup and can be eaten right out of the package. You can also pop it in the microwave or toast it for a more traditional waffle-y experience.
Along with the actual products, there was also a coupon good for one FREE RXBAR. Nice!
Yet another great assortment of snacks, drinks, and pantry staples from Degustabox! My favorite items this month were the King Arthur cookie mix, Goya olive oil, Mutti tomato sauce, and Wise popcorn. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time (thru 7/31) you can get your first box for just $9.99 (regularly $19.99) — plus FREE shipping + a FREE bonus Bibigo Go-Chu-Jang Barbecue Sauce! — To score this awesome deal, just use coupon code “CJSUMMER” at checkout!
