Let’s see what’s in the November 2016 Degustabox!
Everything was shipped in a big (and heavy) box with the Degustabox logo on the side.
A peek inside! — As always, plenty of bubble wrap and packing material to keep everything in tact.
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Beanitos Bean Chips in Hint of Lime ($2) – Yum! I love bean chips and this “hint of lime” flavor is one of my favorites. These are made with real beans, providing a nice amount of fiber in every serving. They also have 5 grams of protein per bag. They’re gluten-free and vegan friendly as well.
Beanitos Bean Chips in Nacho Cheese ($2) – Nacho cheese flavor obviously isn’t vegan-friendly, but it’s made with the same fiber-packed beans as the other varieties. It’s also gluten-free and made without GMOs, preservatives, or artificial flavors/colors.
Briannas Home Style Poppy Seed Dressing ($3.99) – Okay, I would have never thought a creamy dressing like this would be vegan… But it IS! That said, I have no idea what I’d use a poppy seed dressing on. The label says that it’s delicious on fresh peaches, but it’s not exactly fresh peach season. I may try what the info card suggests. — Using it as a dip for apple wedges.
Torani Salted Caramel K-Cups (~$7) – K-cups!! I’m super lazy when it comes to making coffee. Despite having a fancy Aeropress, I still favor my trusty Keurig machine. 😉 These K-cups contain a medium roast coffee naturally flavored with salted caramel. (I couldn’t find a list of exactly what the natural flavors were, so I’m hoping they’re vegan-friendly.) Note: Subscribers received this product OR the vinegar below in their November box. I received both for review purposes.
Ponti Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena ($5.99) – A thick balsamic vinegar reduction that’s ideal for drizzling over your favorite meat, fish, or vegetable dishes. Also great on salad and even desserts.
NibMor Chocolate Bars ($2.78) – Ooh! These chocolates are SO good! They’re made with smooth dark chocolate and infused with real fruit. They’re also non-GMO certified, gluten free, and vegan-friendly.
Chef’s Cut Chipotle Cracked Pepper Real Steak Jerky ($5.99) – A low-fat, nitrate-free jerky made with premium smoked beef. It’s made in the USA and has 12 grams of protein per serving.
Bruce Cost Ginger Beer ($3) – This ginger beer is made with 100% fresh ginger for a pure, spicy kick. — It even has real ginger sediments left in every can. Great for mixing with cocktails or enjoying on its own.
Sharwoods Creamy Tomato Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce ($4.99) – An Indian cooking sauce to help bring authentic flavor to your choice of meat or fish. It features the flavors of tomato, coconut, and a hint of black cardamom. Ready in just 20 minutes.
Oloves Basil & Garlic Olives ($1.49) – I love green olives and these little pouches are great to have on hand for when I’m craving them and don’t have a jar of ’em in the house. The addition of basil and garlic makes them extra tasty.
Honees Honey Lemon Cough Drops ($2.75) – Tis the season to catch colds, so these non-GMO cough drops are sure to come in handy. 😉
Haribo Sour Gold Bears (~$3) – These weren’t listed on the info sheet, so I’m assuming they were a bonus? Works for me!
Coupon – I only include coupons with my reviews when they’re awesome… Like this one that’s good for a FREE full sized bag of Beanitos! 😀
November’s Degustabox was one of my favorites to date! There were a ton of vegan-friendly items and even a free product coupon. The total value of all the items this month was almost $40. Nice! — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for just $9.99 shipped! No coupon code needed. (If the link doesn’t automatically take $10 off, you can use coupon code “8717R” at checkout.)
