Let’s see what’s in the October 2018 Degustabox!
As always, everything was shipped in a big box with the Degustabox logo on the side.
A peek inside!
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Pirate’s Booty Aged White Cheddar Puffs (~$2)
Baked rice & corn puffs made with real aged white cheddar cheese. These contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives and are gluten-free. A great snack for kids! Four single-serve bags were included.
Bush’s Best Roasted Chickpeas ($7.98 for both)
Subscribers received one of the above bags of roasted chickpeas (I received both for review). These crunchy, flavored chickpeas make a great snack on their own or sprinkled on a salad for an extra dose of plant-based protein. They’re gluten free and appear to be vegan-friendly as well. 🙂
Welch’s Superfruit Mix Fruit Snacks ($2.99)
Chewy fruit snacks made with real fruit, coloring from natural sources, and no preservatives. They’re also gluten-free, fat-free, and contain 100% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C per serving. Flavors include starfruit-kiwi, goji-apricot, pomegranate-passionfruit, and more.
Tastykake Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes and Chocolate Junior ($1.79 each)
My kids are going to LOVE these treats! Tastykake’s Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes are chocolate flavored cakes with peanut butter filling and a thin chocolate coating. The Chocolate Junior is a yellow layer cake topped with a creamy chocolate icing. Since they’re baked fresh, both have expiration dates that are approaching soon. — Looks like my girls are going to enjoy some cake today!
Idahoan Premium Steakhouse Creamy Potato Soup ($2.99)
Enjoy creamy potato soup in as little as 5 minutes with this potato soup mix. It’s made with 100% Idaho red & russet potatoes, potato skins, cheddar & blue cheese, spices, and more. Simply boil water, whisk in the soup packet, simmer for 5 minutes, and lunch is served.
SunSpire Peanut Butter Chips ($7.99)
Woah, these are some pricey chips! Made with real peanut butter, these are great for adding to cookies, bars, brownies, and more. The package even suggests tossing a few into your morning oatmeal for a touch of sweetness.
Sixlets Candies ($1 each)
Sixlets! — I used to be all about these candy-coated chocolate balls when I was a kid. I loved buying them in the long plastic sleeves and pushing them out one at a time with my teeth. Ah, memories… I can’t say that I remember the chewy fruit-flavored candy version of ’em though. Are they a newer addition? Either way, both candies are nut-free & gluten-free and the fruity ones contain no artificial flavors or colors.
Bahlsen Waffeletten Crispy Rolled Wafers ($3.49)
A product of Germany, these crispy treats consist of golden wafers that are rolled up and dipped halfway into rich European milk chocolate. Kind of like a deconstructed wafer cookie!
Brown & Haley Sea Salt Caramel Roca ($2.99)
These sweet confections are made with high quality ingredients including fresh local butter, sugar, cocoa beans, premium California almonds, and a dash of sea salt. Each piece features a caramel toffee center that’s coated in a layer of crushed almonds.
Garoto Caribe ($0.80)
A product of Brazil, this little bar is made of sweet bananas and smooth dark chocolate for a taste of the tropics.
A treat-filled collection of goodies from Degustabox! My personal favorites this time were the Bush’s Best roasted chickpeas, Welch’s fruit snacks, Pirate’s Booty, and Sixlets. — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for just $12.99 (regularly $19.99) — plus FREE shipping! — To score this awesome deal, just use coupon code “CJOFFER7” at checkout!
