Let’s see what’s in the April 2017 DoodleBug Busy Bag!
As always, all of the crafts were shipped in a padded envelope and sealed in a ziplock bag.
All of the crafts were listed on info sheet, along with photos and tips on how to complete each one. — April’s theme was “Easter” and included an assortment of cute Easter-inspired activities.
3D Foam Easter Scene Craft Kit
This 3D foam scene featured eggs, flowers, a bunny, and more. Of course, my carrot-obsessed daughter immediately spotted the carrots and insisted that she completed this craft first. 😉
CARROTS!
Such a festive little scene. 🙂
Easter Wind Chime
A little wooden wind chime for your child to color in with the enclosed package of markers.
Colorin’.
Our finished multi-colored bunny friend.
DIY Unfinished Wood Easter Ornament
A plain, unfinished wooden egg ornament was also included to decorate with the markers. This worked out well for us, since each of the girls had their own project to color.
More colorin’.
The finished egg! (Did you notice the carrot she “hid” on top? Ha!)
3D Foam Easter Egg Factory Craft Kit
This project was a little more involved, so I helped out a bit more than usual. The walls were tricky to get to stay up, but we got them to work. Well, for a while anyway. 😉
Adding some windows.
Decorating a little tree with even littler eggs.
Cuuute!
Craft Stick Easter Basket Craft Kit
An easy craft that just involved placing the wooden sticks on the self-adhesive white square to create a basket, then decorate with the bow, eggs, and handle.
Lining up the sticks.
Basket, complete!
Easter Bunny Necklace Craft Kit
A festive necklace craft to make using wooden and plastic beads of various sizes and colors.
Threading the beads.
Easter bling. 🙂
Egg-Cellent Make-An-Easter-Basket Easter Scene
A sheet of colorful Easter stickers were provided to decorate the basket “scene” on the right.
Positioning the all-important Easter bunny.
I don’t think it was intentional, but I love the little chick peeking out from behind the grass. 🙂
Holiday-themed DoodleBug Busy Bags are always our favorites. The girls had a lot of fun working on these crafts and decorating our house for Easter. 🙂 — Upcoming themes include Mother’s Day in May and Father’s Day for June.
