Let’s see what’s in the December 2016 DoodleBug Busy Bag!
As always, all of the crafts were shipped in a padded envelope and sealed in a ziplock bag.
All of the crafts were listed on info sheet, along with photos and tips on how to complete each one.
Reindeer Wreath Door Hanger Craft Kit – A cute, easy to assemble foam craft kit to hang on a doorknob for some festive holiday cheer. — Featuring everyone’s favorite reindeer, Rudolph!
Putting the finishing touches on the wreath.
Rudolph may be in need of a pair of glasses, but he’s still adorable. 😉
Lacing Felt Plush Reindeer Craft Kit – A lacing craft with the added bonus of stuffing! Just lace the two felt “head” pieces together, decorate with self-adhesive facial features, and fill with stuffing, and you’ve got yourself a little plush reindeer friend.
Stuff, stuff, stuff…
Awww! 😀
Christmas Tree Glitter Mosaic Craft Kit – We received a similar project in last month’s bag and it’s very time-consuming. (SO many little stickers to place!) Nevertheless, Chloe insisted on doing this first and diligently worked on it while Evie did the other crafts. (It’s still not finished. 😉 )
She started with blue, her favorite color. No “completed” photo since it’s still under construction. 😉
Wooden Beaded Icicle Ornament Craft Kit – I think this was one of my personal favorite crafts this month. Some of the pieces were a little hard to thread, so I did most of this project myself. I did have the girls help me find each bead/button as the instructions called for them, which they had fun with.
This is hanging on our tree as I type. 🙂
Bright Gingerbread House Magnet Craft Kit – Another easy foam kit that involved simply placing the self-adhesive pieces onto the gingerbread house and finishing it off with a magnet on the back.
Evie decided that all of the sugar-coated candies should be given right to the gingerbread man. He happily accepted.
He’s a happy lil’ cookie man!
Santa Craft Stick Character Ornament – A pre-painted craft stick & foam santa ornament. Unfortunately, we were missing his eyes & nose. 🙁
Our faceless Santa. Ha. We’ll add some eyes later. 😉
Jingle Bell & Pony Bead Necklace Craft Kit – Almost all of the DoodleBug Busy Bags I’ve received have included a beaded necklace or bracelet craft. My girls love accessorizing, so these are always a hit.
I love the little “gummy bear” beads!
Merry Christmas to All Sticker Scene – A sheet of Christmas themed stickers and a snowy background page were provided to create your own holiday scene.
Stickin’.
“OH!” is Santa’s new catchphrase. Also, don’t mind the decapitated deer. The stickers were a little hard to remove from the backing. 😉
The Christmas themed DoodleBug Busy Bag is always one of my girls’ favorites. (Mine too!) The crafts are always so festive and fun. Perfect for getting into the holiday spirit. 🙂 — Upcoming bag themes include Winter, Valentine’s Day, Spring, and Easter.
