Let’s see what’s in the March 2017 DoodleBug Busy Bag!
As always, all of the crafts were shipped in a padded envelope and sealed in a ziplock bag.
All of the crafts were listed on info sheet, along with photos and tips on how to complete each one. — March’s theme was “Spring” and included an assortment of pretty Spring-inspired activities.
3D Foam Flower Garden Scene Craft Kit
This adorable 3D flower garden kit was one of our favorites of the month. We displayed the finished project in the dining room but one of my kiddos keeps taking the purple flower out because “he’s lonely and wants to play with me”. Ha. Kids…
Reluctantly putting that purple flower in place. 😉
Such happy lil’ flowers!
Welcome Spring Rainbow Mobile Craft Kit
All of the kits this month were extra cheerful! We have this mobile hanging near our kitchen door and it’s the perfect decoration to welcome in Springtime.
Hello, Mr. Sun!
Could those raindrops be any sweeter? Aww!
Glitter Mosaic Butterfly Sign Craft Kit
We’ve gotten a different variation of these mosaic sticker kits in the last few bags and one of my daughters is ALL about ’em. They’re pretty time-consuming and tedious, but she loves them and always wants to work on it before any of the other crafts… Even if it means her sister ends up doing 80% of the kits herself.
Diligently putting all of the self-adhesive glitter stickers in place…
The completed project! She loves butterflies too, so this craft was a total win.
Swing into Spring Frog Sign Craft Kit
This craft was easy to assemble and absolutely adorable once completed.
Giving the froggy his eyes.
I love this lil’ guy!
Flower Necklace Craft Kit
Pretty much every DoodleBugs Busy Bag includes either a necklace or bracelet craft. My girls are all about accessorizing so they love assembling (and wearing) these.
Making an accessory while wearing accessories. She strung the beads on one side, while I copied her pattern on the other.
So Spring-y!
Color Your Own Wood Spring Paddleball Game
This wooden paddleball game came with a set of crayons (shown with another kit below) for your child to color however they wanted.
She has a slight obsession with carrots (don’t ask), so of course she had to color a “carrot cloud”. HA!
So colorful! — All I can see is that carrot cloud though. 😉
Spring Butterfly Foam Magnet
My butterfly-loving daughter requested that we save this one for her to do when she (finally) completed the mosaic craft above. We obliged.
I told her she didn’t have to follow the pattern on the instructions, so she just winged it. (Get it?)
I might have attached the magnet the wrong way (oops!), but she assured me that it was okay.
Spring Fun & Games Activity Book & Crayons
More butterflies! Both girls took turns coloring a different page in this cute Spring-themed activity book.
This page was eventually all orange. — Like a carrot, of course.
My girls absolutely LOVED this month’s DoodleBug Busy Bags kits. The 3D flower garden and abundance of butterflies were a big hit and everything was just so cheerful. We’re looking forward to next month’s Easter themed bag! 🙂
