Let’s see what’s in the November 2016 DoodleBug Busy Bag!
As always, all of the crafts were shipped in a padded envelope and sealed in a ziplock bag.
All of the crafts were listed on info sheet, along with photos and tips on how to complete each one.
Standing Foam Turkey Craft Kit – A cute 3D turkey craft to assemble and use as a centerpiece on your Thanksgiving table.
Positioning the beak/snood.
Gobble, gobble!
Craft Stick Turkey Banner Craft Kit – This project involved assembling foam pieces, wooden craft sticks, and googly eyes.
I have no idea why she decided to stick all of his facial features to the left, but it works. 😉
Haha! The fact that his eyes happen to be looking to the right makes the left placement of everything else look like that’s actually the way it was meant to be.
Fall Leaves Glitter Foam Mosaic Craft Kit – Mosaics can be pretty time consuming and this one was no exception. Look at all of those little self-adhesive circles that had to be attached!
She diligently worked on this the entire time her sister completed the rest of the projects. (No “completed” photo because it’s still not finished!)
Craft Stick Fall Pumpkin Ornament – Another craft that featured painted wooden craft sticks, along with foam pieces and a green pipecleaner.
Making sure the stickers stick.
So festive!
Wood Beaded Give Thanks Necklace Craft Kit – An easy to complete Thanksgiving necklace with wooden beads and fall-themed accents.
The two smallest beads were actually too difficult to string on (the holes weren’t drilled large enough), so we left those out…
It still turned out cute though!
Clothespin Leg Turkey Craft Kit – The girls actually brought home little turkey crafts from preschool that also used clothespins for legs, so they were already familiar with the concept.
Unlike the turkeys they made in school, this one even had feet.
What a handsome lil’ guy! (A bit crooked, but handsome nonetheless. 😉 )
Hello Fall Sign Craft Kit – I love this one! Another easy peel and stick foam kit with an adorable autumn theme.
Smooshing the letters in place.
The instructions said to put the acorn in the squirrel’s hand, but I think it’s actually cuter where my kiddo stuck it. 🙂
Another fun assortment of crafts from DoodleBug Busy Bags! My girls loved making all of the festive Thanksgiving/autumn decorations and I’m always more than happy to display them around the house. 🙂 Upcoming themes include Christmas, Winter, Valentine’s Day, Spring, and Easter.
