February 2017 Ecocentric Mom review time!
If you’re unaware, Ecocentric Mom is a unique subscription box that features mom & baby products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. There are 3 different box options to choose from: The “Mom & Baby” box (for moms & babies up to 18 months), “Mom-to-Be Box” (for the expecting mom), and just plain ol’ “Mom” box. They also offer an “Ecocentric Box” for women in general (moms and non-moms alike!).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24.95/month, or less with multi-month commitments. You can choose to receive boxes monthly or every-other-month. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save 40% on your first box with coupon code “ECOHOLIDAY“!
Let’s see what’s in the February 2017 Ecocentric Mom “Mom” Box!
The box!
A peek inside.
The 2-sided info card listed all of the items in the box, along with a brief description and retail values for each one. Exclusive discounts were also included to use on future purchases.
Live Inspired Organics Love Strawberry Essence Sugar Scrub ($16.95)
This scrub smells SO good! — It’s sweet, fruity, and perfect for Valentine’s Day. 🙂 Ingredients include certified organic coconut oil, pure cane sugar, sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, rose petals, cacao nibs, and more.
Three by Three Seattle Chained Up! Chain & Magnet Display ($13)
I thought this was kind of an odd inclusion for an Ecocentric Mom box, but I like it nonetheless. It’s a 5-foot long ball chain with 9 strong magnets to display your photos, cards, child’s artwork, etc. You can hang it banner style or vertically using the handy rings on the ends of the chain. Neat!
Simply Earth Happy Joy Roll-On ($8.95)
Simply Earth is an essential oil company that offers their own monthly subscription box (which I reviewed back in October). I really enjoyed their oils, so I was happy to see this roll-on included. “Happy Joy” is an uplifting blend made with geranium, sweet orange, neroli, grapefruit, and ylang ylang essential oils. I’m not a fan of floral scents, but thankfully the fruity notes totally overpower the geranium. 🙂
E&C’s Nutterly Awesome Cran Jam Hunkola ($2.99)
Mmm! These little “hunks” are a mashup of cookies and granola, all in one tasty bite. They’re all natural, non-GMO, vegan, and gluten free. When I opened them up I was pleasantly surprised to see that they looked (and tasted) much more like cookies than granola. SO good!
TeaThyme Alcohol-Free Hand Sanitizer ($5.49)
An alcohol-free hand sanitizing spray made with a blend of tea tree and thyme essential oils, which have natural antiviral and antibacterial properties. This one tiny bottle has over 80 sprays and is safe for all ages.
Maty’s All Natural Cough Syrup for Children (sample)
A safe, drug-free cough syrup that’s suitable for children 1 or older. It’s made with all natural ingredients including honey, apple cider vinegar, olive oil. and pure vanilla extract.
Live Inspired Organics A Little Cup of Peace Tea (sample)
A soothing organic tea blend consisting of chamomile flowers, spearmint, lavender flowers, cinnamon bark, passionflower, and rose petals.
February’s Ecocentric Mom box had a great variety of useful, eco-friendly items. My favorites this time were the unexpected photo display, the Simply Earth roll-on, Hunkola, and body scrub. The total retail value of everything in this month’s box was roughly $56! — Remember, for a limited time you can save 40% on your first box with coupon code “ECOHOLIDAY“!
