A peek inside!
Previse Skin Ointment Salve ($37)
For my “luxury skincare/beauty item”, I went with this naturally scented skin salve. Enriched with vitamin E, this natural ointment is designed to relieve soreness associated with cracked, dry, and damaged skin on your lips, hands, feet, nipples and other areas of the body. It’s safe for use while breastfeeding and is free of yucky stuff including parabens, petroleum, mineral oil, PEGs, dyes, and phthalates.
Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain ($24)
I wouldn’t normally choose a lip stain, but this Manna Kadar gloss looked to be a lighter color that I would possibly wear so I selected it as my “clean beauty/makeup item”. The shade — “Rosette” — is a pretty pink color that acts as a primer, gloss, and stain all in one. It’s paraben-free and enriched with Vitamins A & E and berry extract to keep lips nourished & moisturized.
Babo Botanicals Sport Stick Sunscreen ($9)
My “health & wellness item” choice was this non-greasy, 100% non-nano zinc-based sunscreen stick. It’s designed for your face, lips, nose, and ears and offers broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection with an SPF of 30. It’s made with certified organic oils including jojoba, coconut, and avocado, as well as shea butter to moisturize as it protects. Safe for babies and kids of all ages.
Itzy Ritzy Travel Happens Sealed Wet Bag ($11.99)
I had actually selected a snack bag set for my “eco-lifestyle item” choice, but I’m more than happy with this wet bag replacement. We already have quite a few snack bags so this handy 11″ x 14″ sealed wet bag is a much better option for us. It features a 100% cotton fabric exterior with a thick, PVC-free waterproof lining. We’re going on a mini vacation in a few weeks and this will be great to take with us to the pool.
MadeGood Mixed Berry Granola Bar (~$1)
Bonus item! — An allergy-friendly granola bar that’s free of the 8 common allergens including dairy, peanuts, wheat, soy, tree nuts, and eggs. It’s non-GMO, organic, and includes the equivalent of nutrients found in one serving of vegetables.
I really enjoyed getting to choose my own items for Ecocentric Mom‘s “Build Your Own Bundle” Clean Lifestyle box. While I do love surprises, it was fun getting a chance to customize a box with things I’m more likely to have a use for. The value was impressive too — I received roughly $83 in products for just $29.99 shipped! 🙂
