July/August Ecocentric Mom “Mom & Baby” box review time!
If you’re unaware, Ecocentric Mom is a unique subscription box that features mom & baby products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. There are 3 different box options to choose from. I (still) subscribe to the “Mom & Baby” box, but they also offer a “Mom-to-Be Box” and just a plain ol’ “Mom” box. They also offer an “Ecocentric Box” for women in general (moms and non-moms alike!).
Subscriptions are $24.95/month, or less with multi-month commitments. You can choose to receive boxes monthly or every-other-month. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first month of any Ecocentric Mom plan with coupon code “ECOSUMMER“!
Let’s see what’s in the July/August 2016 Ecocentric Mom “Mom & Baby” Box!
The box!
A peek inside.
The 2-sided info card lists all of the items in the box, along with a brief description of each one. Exclusive discounts are also included to use on future purchases.
Kosmatology Foaming Hand Soap ($8.99) – Hand soap! I seriously love getting nice hand soap in subscription boxes. It’s something we all use daily and we go through it like crazy in our house. This “Orange Sweetness” scented foaming soap is both paraben & sulfate free and is made with organic ingredients.
Fresh Wave Fresh Pod ($5.99) – This peel & stick odor pod uses natural ingredients to help eliminate icky odors from diaper pails, garbage cans, closets, lockers, and more. Thankfully, our diaper pail days are long gone, but this will be great to use in the perpetually stinky kitchen garbage can.
Silimap Folding Silicone Placemat ($14.95) – What a smart idea! Unlike regular placemats that either roll up or lay flat in one large piece, this one easily folds up like a map. It’s made of hypoallergenic silicone and features a map of the US which can be colored on with washable markers. The mat is dishwasher safe and perfect for taking on the go.
GLOW for a Cause Natural Baby Butter ($16) – Safe enough for the most sensitive skin, this body butter is free from parabens, gluten, phthalates, and artificial fragrance. It’s made with natural ingredients including shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, and sunflower oil. Plus, it’s full size!
FizzWizz Wipes & Cleaning Tablets ($4) – 100% natural, food-grade wipes for safely cleaning pacifiers, nipples, bottles, cups, teething toys, and more. A sample of effervescent cleaning tablets for bottles and sippy cups was also included.
Dandelion Daisy Natural Laundry Detergent (sample) – A natural laundry detergent formulated for sensitive skin, yet strong enough to get out the smelliest odors. It’s free from dyes, optical brighteners, phosphates, and sodium laureth sulfate. It’s also safe for all machines and septic systems.
Dang Toasted Coconut Chips ($1.79) – I was first introduced to Dang coconut chips a couple years ago — and yes, from a subscription box. 😉 They’re crunchy pieces of toasted coconut flavored with a bit of sugar and salt. So good!
Another nice assortment of items from Ecocentric Mom! Although my kids are 4 years old now, we’ll still use the majority of the things included. 🙂 The total value of everything this month was almost $52! — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first month of any Ecocentric Mom plan with coupon code “ECOSUMMER“!

I get this box monthly and find most items awesome as well! This month I was disappointed in the fresh wave pod. It won’t stick to the diaper pail or anything else, plus keeps popping open. I love the concept tho, hope you have better luck!

I haven’t tried ours yet. We’re past the diaper pail stage (finally), so I was going to stick it in our kitchen garbage. Maybe I’ll just toss it in the bottom of it and call it a day? 😉
