Let’s see what’s in the March 2018 Ecocentric Mom Box!
Everything was shipped in a blue/green box with the Ecocentric Mom logo on top.
A peek inside!
A little envelope was sealed with a sticker that included my child’s age (my girls are actually 5, but the box only goes up to 4).
Inside the envelope were 6 separate info cards that revealed each item in the box with brief descriptions and retail values for each one.
Rūtz Skincare Body Nectar ($15)
This hydrating body “nectar” is formulated with a powerful blend of botanicals, antioxidants, linoleic acids, and vitamins to nourish and soften the skin. Its reiki energy infused ingredients include safflower oil, organic sunflower oil, grapeseed oil, apricot kernel oil, lavender, geranium, ylang ylang, and sage essential oils. To use, simply spritz onto your slightly damp body post-shower. It can also be used on your hair to tame flyaways.
Day Dream Toys Handmade Wooden Puzzle ($15)
While this puzzle almost feels a little young for a 4 year old, my 5 year olds both took turns completing it and asked if it could be painted. I’m a bit hesitant to let them go at it with paints due to it being handcrafted, but if that’s how they choose to use it I suppose I can oblige. 🙂
Beurre Bébé Chamomile Shea Butter Baby Cream (~$20)
An all natural body cream designed to moisturize baby’s skin after bathtime. It’s made with pure shea butter, which has naturally occurring anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing compounds that work to resolve, soothe and clear up skin irritations. Other ingredients include apricot kernel oil, calendula oil, arrowroot powder, grapefruit seed extract, and chamomile oil. The formula is 100% natural and vegan-friendly.
Herbaland Protein Gummies ($3.50 & $2.50)
I’m excited to try these vegan-friendly protein gummies! Most gummy supplements/candy contains gelatin, so it’s rare to find one that’s actually vegan. Not to mention one that has a kid’s version too! Very cool. 🙂
Masigi Pulling Oil ($8)
I’ve yet to try out oil pulling myself, but with these handy “single serve” packets I have no reason not to. The process of swishing coconut oil around in your mouth is said to promote oral health, remove harmful bacteria, clear sinuses, brighten teeth, and freshen breath. It’s worth a shot!
Plaine Products Travel Body Wash ($5)
This reusable, travel size aluminum bottle of body wash is vegan, hypoallergenic, baby safe, color safe, and cruelty free. It has an awesome rosemary-vanilla-mint scent and is safe for all skin types. I love having little bottles like this around for travel and this one is even better because it can be refilled/reused for additional trips. 🙂
Esthechoc Beauty Chocolate Supplement
A beauty supplement in the form of 72% dark chocolate? Sign me up! Each serving is loaded with antioxidants and bioavailable cocoa polyphenols to support a healthy immune system, reduce oxidative stress, and prevent damage from free radicals. Plus, it’s vegan-friendly, gluten free, and has just 38 calories & 2 grams of sugar per serving.
My March Ecocentric Mom box included a nice variety of eco-friendly goodies. My favorite items this time were the Rūtz Body Nectar, Plaine Products Body Wash, Herbaland Protein Gummies, and handmade wooden puzzle. The retail value of March’s box was just under $70 (not including the chocolate)! 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “ROSEBUD10“!
