May/June Ecocentric Mom “Mom & Baby” box review time!
If you’re unaware, Ecocentric Mom is a unique subscription box that features mom & baby products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. There are 3 different box options to choose from. I (still) subscribe to the “Mom & Baby” box, but they also offer a “Mom-to-Be Box” and just a plain ol’ “Mom” box. They also offer an “Ecocentric Box” for women in general (moms and non-moms alike!).
Subscriptions are $24.95/month, or less with multi-month commitments. You can choose to receive boxes monthly or every-other-month. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first month of any Ecocentric Mom plan with coupon code “ECOSUMMER“!
Let’s see what’s in the May/June 2016 Ecocentric Mom “Mom & Baby” Box!
The box!
A peek inside.
The 2-sided info card lists all of the items in the box, along with a brief description of each one. Exclusive discounts are also included to use on future purchases.
Meow Meow Tweet Baby Body Powder ($5) – I never used baby powder on my kiddos because I didn’t want to have them breathe in all that talc. This vegan-friendly powder is talc-free and made with arrowroot powder, kaolin clay, zinc oxide, and essential oils. Nice!
Happy Baby Clearly Crafted Pouch in Pears, Pumpkin, & Passion Fruit ($1.79) – While obviously designed for babies, we still give these pouches to our kiddos to easily sneak in some extra fruits & veggies. This one contains a blend of organic/non-GMO pears, pumpkin, and passion fruit.
SqueakNSnap Monkey ($19.95) – I wish I had this little guy when my girls were babies! Just plug him into your phone, open the camera app, and push the monkey’s belly. — He’ll make a squeak sound while taking a photo at the same time. (The squeaker functions as the camera button.) This is great for getting your baby’s (or pet’s) attention and snapping some great photos. Neat!
Garden Goddess Baby Natural Sunscreen ($4.99) – I can never have too much sunscreen, so I was happy to see this natural/organic tube in this month’s box. We’ve been going through the stuff like crazy these last few weeks.
Kutoa Whole Food Bar in Chocolate Banana ($1.99) – These bars have been in a LOT of different subscription boxes over the past year or so. They’re made with plenty of good-for-you ingredients including fresh fruit, raw nuts, and seeds. They don’t contain any refined sugar and they’re both vegan & gluten-free.
Orglamix Eye Shadow in “Beachy Keen” ($12) – I’ve received a few Orglamix products in other beauty boxes and I love that they’re all vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. This pretty shadow — “Beachy Keen” — was made exclusively for Ecocentric Mom and features a shimmery pinky peach shade. Perfect for summertime!
Evolvh SmartStart Leave-in Conditioner ($11) – This paraben-free, vegan friendly leave-in conditioning spray features a water-based formula that’s made with raw lecithin to fortify weak strands and protect hair from future breakage. It can be used on both damp & dry hair and it smells fantastic.
Jack N’ Jill Natural Toothpaste in Blackcurrant ($6.99) – We’ve used this brand a few times when the girls were younger and we had no complaints. The all natural formula is free of fluoride, sugar, artificial colors, SLS, and preservatives. It’s also totally safe if swallowed.
Ecocentric Mom never disappoints. I’m always impressed with the great selection of items I receive — and no tiny foil packet samples either! My girls are almost 4 years old and I still have no desire to stop subscribing to this box (even though it’s curated for babies up to 18 months). It’s just that good! 😉 Oh, and the total value this month? Over $63! Very cool. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first month of any Ecocentric Mom plan with coupon code “ECOSUMMER“!
