Let’s see what’s in the October 2017 Ecocentric Mom “Mom & Baby” Box!
Everything was shipped in a blue/green box with the Ecocentric Mom logo on top.
A peek inside!
October’s theme was “Healthy Home Collection”. An info card included a link to learn more about each product over on the Ecocentric Mom website.
Wool Dryer Balls by Ecocentric Mom ($16.95)
These large dryer balls are made of 100% wool and contain no additives fillers or synthetics. Simply pop one or two in your dryer with your laundry to reduce wrinkles, soften fabrics, and shorten drying time without the use of chemical-laden dryer sheets. You can also put a few drops of your favorite essential oil on them to give your clothes/linens a nice scent. 🙂
Puracy Natural Washroom Spray ($9.99)
An all natural, 100% toxin-free proactive odor neutralizer that you spritz into the toilet prior to doin’ your business. Lavender essential oil cuts strong odors, while vanilla leaves a soft aroma behind. The formula is hypoallergenic, vegan, gluten-free, biodegradable, and septic safe.
EEK! Halloween! by Sandra Boynton ($6.99)
I was happy to see a cute Halloween-themed item in October’s box. This festive board book looks at Halloween through the eyes of a group of confused chickens who have no idea what the holiday entails. A pumpkin with flickering eyes… a giant mouse… wizards, witches… EEK!
Green Sprouts Snack Cups ($5.95) – Personal Selection #1
Although my girls are now out of the intended age range for this box, they’ll still be able to get plenty of use out of these handy little snack cups (perfect for lunch boxes!). They’re constructed of a plant-based plastic that’s lightweight, BPA/PVC-free, and dishwasher safe. The cups come with a twist-on lid, making them great for snacking on the go.
Coconut Karma Portable Coconut Oil ($4)
This organic, cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil is packaged in a resealable pouch, making it easy to take on the go (it’s TSA compliant!). Coconut oil has a gazillion uses including moisturizing, oil pulling, cooking, hair conditioning, and more.
Puracy Natural Foaming Hand Soap ($6.99) – Personal Selection #2
We wash our hands SO often in our house that this natural foaming hand soap was an easy pick. It’s made with all natural/biodegradable ingredients and is 100% free of sulfates, triclosan, SLS, SLES, petrochemicals, perfumes, animal by-products, or other harsh chemicals. It has a light lavender/vanilla scent and is fortified with Vitamin E & aloe vera to naturally soften your skin.
Lilac Moon Company Citrus Laundry Suds (sample)
The final item was a sample of natural citrus scented laundry detergent good for two loads. It’s made in the USA and handcrafted in small batches.
I was really pleased with my October 2017 Ecocentric Mom box and will likely use just about every item inside. I absolutely LOVE that they give you the option to choose 2 of your items each month. My favorite items this time were the snack cups, washroom spray, hand soap, and Halloween board book. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “ROSEBUD10“!
