Ecocentric Mom is a unique subscription box that features mom & baby products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. There are 3 different box options to choose from. I subscribe to the “Mom & Baby” box, but they also offer a “Mom-to-Be Box” and just a plain ol’ “Mom” box.
Subscriptions are $24/every-other-month, but they often have discount codes available that are usually good for the life of your sub. (I was able to pick up a discounted subscription a while back and now my boxes are only $18/month.)
Let’s have a look at what’s inside the September/October Ecocentric Mom box!
As always, everything was tucked beneath their signature hot pink tissue paper sealed with an Ecocentric Mom logo sticker.
The info card was a little different this month and didn’t include retail prices like they did in previous boxes. Not a fan.
Duck & Goose Find a Pumpkin by Tad Hills – I’m happy to see that Ecocentric Mom has continued their recent trend of sending books in their “Mom & Baby” boxes! We received a different “Duck & Goose” book in the spring box and my girls really like it, so it was nice to see an autumn-themed one this time. They love ducks and “quack” every time they see a page with Duck on it (that would be all the pages!).
WooBamboo Kid’s “Sprout” Toothbrush 2-Pack – Eco-friendly toothbrushes for kiddos. These are made with sustainable bamboo and high quality Dupont Tynex bristles. The handle is totally organically-grown and biodegradable. I love that the package includes two brushes so I don’t have to pick which kid gets the cool wooden toothbrush. haha
Bakery On Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Oatmeal – I’m not a big fan of oatmeal, but I may have to give this a try… It’s vegan, certified gluten free, and made with lots of healthy whole grains. In all honesty, just the inclusion of the word “muffin” in the name is enough to make me want to try it.
Annie’s Organic Cheddar Snack Mix – We buy Annie’s bunny cookies for the girls quite a lot. I like that they’re made with organic ingredients and are a nice size for toddler’s little mouths. This is a snack mix with pretzels and cheese crackers — all bunny-shaped. (Cute!) They contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.
Beautiful Earth Body Lotion for Baby – A gentle lotion infused with essential oils of May Chang and calendula to sooth baby’s sensitive skin. It’s made in South Africa and is paraben & SLS free. You can’t really tell from the photo, but this is a nice 8.5 fl ounce size bottle. Cool.
Jillian Wright Skincare Breakout Blocker Clarifying Serum – I’m not too thrilled by this tiny sample packet, but this is an anti-aging serum that helps control bacteria and brightens your skin. It’s gentle and made without harmful medicated ingredients.
7th Heaven Clean Up Mud Mask – I love using masks like this while I take a bath. This came at a great time, since the weather is getting cooler and baths will become more regular. (That kinda sounds like I never bathe… I shower! Daily. I swear.)
Grandma El’s Diaper Rash Remedy & Prevention – Tiny packets, but I can always use more diaper rash ointment. This one is all natural and claims to “work immediately”.
The Organic Face Luminous Lip Gloss in Pink Rose – I wish I could wear lip loss, but alas, I cannot. My lips are just too small and look minuscule with lip products applied to ’em. That said, this is a pretty gloss that’s made with 100% natural ingredients and is said to be smooth and non-sticky.
Overall, I’m pretty pleased with the September/October Ecocentric Mom “Mom & Baby” box. I sort of wish there were less products for me and a few more for the girls, but no biggie. The full sized lotion is great and should last a while… We can always use more toothbrushes for the girls and the same goes for books — the more, the merrier in this house. I’m looking forward to the November/December box… Hopefully it’ll have a fun holiday theme!

Looks like an okay box…although companies that are still using Annie’s items worries me a little. They were our favorite store bought brand because of their awesome ingredients. We have stopped by Annie’s brand now that they are owned and operated by General Mills.
It was a sad day in our house when we realized there would be no more Cheddar Bunnies!

I always love this box. I too have stopped buying Annie’s. 🙁
