September 2016 Ecocentric Mom review time!
If you’re unaware, Ecocentric Mom is a unique subscription box that features mom & baby products that are eco-friendly, natural, organic, and often vegan-friendly. There are 3 different box options to choose from: The “Mom & Baby” box (for moms & babies up to 18 months), “Mom-to-Be Box” (for the expecting mom), and just plain ol’ “Mom” box. They also offer an “Ecocentric Box” for women in general (moms and non-moms alike!).
Subscriptions are $24.95/month, or less with multi-month commitments. You can choose to receive boxes monthly or every-other-month. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “GOGREEN25“!
Let’s see what’s in the September 2016 Ecocentric Mom “Mom” Box!
The box!
A peek inside.
The 2-sided info card listed all of the items in the box, along with a brief description of each one. Exclusive discounts were also included to use on future purchases.
Zabana Essentials Lavender Lemongrass Face + Body Tonic ($12.95) – A plant-based, vegan-friendly face & body spray that tones skin, tightens pores, and aides in providing balanced hydration to the face, décolletage, and back. It includes essential oils of lavender, lemongrass, and lemon for a fresh, calming scent.
Paddywax Apothecary Vetiver & Cardamom Candle ($5.25) – Yay, a candle! I’m a big fan of Paddywax and this little vetiver & cardamom scented tin smells amazing. Very autumn-y!
Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil ($4.50) – An all natural facial oil moisturizer that promotes skin elasticity, diminishes age spots, and boosts cell regeneration & oxygenation. Its non-greasy formula leaves skin feeling soft and nourished.
Square Hue Nail Polish ($10) – Square Hue polishes are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and feature a 7-free clean formula. The shade above is “Independence”, part of their Celebrate Freedom America collection. It’s a deep blue high gloss creme with a slightly jelly feel and I love it. 🙂
Bedrock and Bloom Smart Ash ($3) – Smart Ash is an all natural teeth whitener and detoxifier made with activated coconut shell charcoal, calcium bentonite clay, and organic orange peel & mint extracts. I’ve gotten this in quite a few subscription boxes this year and I’m kinda over it to be honest.
Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (sample) – I’ve been using coconut oil a lot lately, so I’m happy to get more. It’s great for stir fry.
Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream (sample) – An all natural multi-use skin cream that works as a facial moisturizer, eye cream, hair conditioner & defrizzer, lip balm, and more.
Doctor Rach’s KidzShake (sample) – A healthy kid’s shake mix that provides protein, complete multivitamin, probiotics, omega-3s, digestive enzymes, and fiber.
Another useful collection of items from Ecocentric Mom‘s “Mom” box! My favorite items this month were the candle (of course), nail polish, and face/body mist. — Remember, for a limited time, you can save 25% on your first box with coupon code “GOGREEN25“!
