Let’s see what’s in the March 2016 Exterior Indulgence box!
The box was shipped in a poly mailer and was held closed with a blue elastic ribbon/string.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the items in the box. I was a little bummed to see that they didn’t include the ingredients as well, like they did for last month’s box.
Chocolate Mint Shampoo & Conditioner – Mmm! I love the scent (and taste) of chocolate mint. This shampoo & conditioner set is made with natural ingredients and both are sulfate & paraben free. They smell good enough to eat!
Chocolate Mint Body Creme – More minty goodness! This body creme smells exactly like mint chocolate chip ice cream. So, so good!
Fresh Brewed Coffee Goat Milk Soap – When I first saw this I was immediately excited by the words “fresh brewed coffee”, then quickly saddened by “goat milk soap”. #veganproblems Ingredients include olive oil, coconut oil, fresh goat milk, and shea butter.
Vanilla Lip Balm – A vanilla flavored lip balm made with natural ingredients including soybean oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, and aloe vera oil.
Mint Chocolate Swirl Guest Soap – Yay! No goat’s milk in this one! 😉 It’s made with mostly organic ingredients including palm oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, oil of peppermint, and spirulina powder. It definitely has a more noticeable mint scent than chocolate, but I like it.
Ylang Ylang Leave-In Conditioner – I was a bit surprised to see a ylang ylang scented item after all of the chocolate mint ones. I couldn’t even get a good sense of the fragrance, since I was so used to the mint… It just kind of smelled medicinal to me. Anywhooo… this is a leave-in conditioner made with aloe leaf juice, organic neem seed oil, rosemary leaf extract, and more.
Handmade Hair Elastics – These are so pretty! Even though my hair is too short to wear them, I really like these handmade hair ties. The colors are great for spring and I love the lace & rose patterned ones. I’ll definitely be putting these away for my kiddos.
La Luna Salt Hand-Painted Chocolate Bark – Yep, I totally thought this was bar soap at first. 😉 Turns out it’s actually a “hand-painted” chocolate bar. I was SO hoping it was vegan-friendly, but after contacting La Luna via Instagram (the ingredient list wasn’t on their website)… I found out that it’s not. 🙁 Bad news for me, awesome news for my lucky kids.
La Luna Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie Infused Sugar – Also included was a little sample packet of smoked sugar infused with cocao beans. I’ll definitely be trying it out on some ice cream soon. Or in my coffee tomorrow morning. 🙂
Once again, Exterior Indulgence curated an impressive box with a great assortment of products. I love that they included items to cleanse, to wear, and even to eat. My favorite product was the chocolate mint body creme, but the bar soap and cute hair ties (for my girls) were close seconds.
