Let’s see what’s in the Spring 2016 FabFitFun box!
The pretty Spring box!
A peek inside.
A full-color booklet/mini mag provided details on all of the items included in the Spring box, along with fashion tips, a look back at some past FabFitFun boxes (it’s their 3-year anniversary!), and more.
Jook & Nona Tag Necklace ($65) – This was one of the first spoilers released and I honestly wasn’t too thrilled about it since I don’t wear gold. That said, it is kind of a cute piece (though it would be much cuter in silver! 😉 ). Annual subscribers were able to choose from 4 different engravings: “Love”, “Happy”, “Inspire”, or “Dream”. I really didn’t know which one to pick, so I went with “Happy”. The necklace is made of 18k gold-plated stainless steel and features a 17.5″ chain.
Jus D’Amour Bath Bomb Trinity ($28) – Yay! Bath bombs! I’m always happy to receive bath products — with bombs being one of my favorites. This trio features 3 different essential oil blend scents: Love Potion (jasmine, rose, & sandalwood), Wake Up (eucalyptus, peppermint, & lime), and Deep Breath (lavender, chamomile, & ylang ylang).
Merrithew Yoga Mat Strap Plus ($14.99) – This multi-purpose yoga strap is handy for both yogis and anyone who just likes to keep fit. It can be used as a mat carrier, a yoga strap to help hold your poses, or as a gentle resistance band.
Marrakesh Argan & Hemp Oil Therapy ($22.99) – I think this was the second (third?) spoiler and another one I wasn’t too excited about. I know a lot of people are all about using argan oil for their hair these days, but unfortunately I’m just not one of ’em.
MakersKit Herb Garden ($35) – I know I’m likely going to kill these poor herbs, but I was still excited to receive this neat kit. 😉 It contains everything you need to start your own little herb garden: a wooden trough, 3 bags of compost, 3 grow containers, and seeds (mint, thyme, & basil).
HelloLegs Shaving Emulation Lotion ($19.95) – A 3-in-1 shaving product that combines body lotion with gentle shaving cream and a touch of blade butter for a silky smooth shave. I don’t normally use shaving lotion/creams, but I might give this a try.
ISH Contour Kit ($32) – This contour kit is the first product launched by ISH, a makeup line created by FabFitFun and Joey Maalouf. It includes a highlighter, blush, bronzer, and contour — most of which I don’t use. 🙁 Ah well.
Keratin Gloves & Socks ($9.98) – An all-in-one hand & foot treatment that helps hydrate the skin and strengthen nails. This packet comes with both gloves and socks to pamper your feet and hands all in one shot. The formula is paraben-free and not tested on animals.
Sterling Forever Gift Card ($30) – I assumed by the name of the company that all of the jewelry on their site would be sterling silver. (Forever.) I was wrong. 😉 I did a quick scan of some of the items and it does look like they have a few things under $30, so I might be able to score some free (silver!) jewelry. Nice!
31 Bits Gift Card ($25) – The jewelry sold at 31 Bits is handmade by Ugandan artisans, helping them to secure employment/income for their families. Many of the pieces feature brightly colored beads (love the fun necklaces!) and they even have children’s sets. 🙂
When I originally saw the full spoilers for this Spring FabFitFun box, I wasn’t too excited. Now that I actually have it in my hands, I’m a lot more happy with it. Sure, there are a couple items that I won’t use, but I like most of it. Plus, even if I end up giving away 50% of it, it’s well worth the quarterly subscription price. The total value this time? More than $280!!!
Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “SUMMER10“!
