FabFitFun is a lifestyle subscription box that sends you a fun assortment of beauty, fitness, and style products on a quarterly basis.
New boxes are released every season and will contain a collection of full-sized products handpicked by the FabFitFun team. Items can include a mix of beauty, fashion, fitness, wellness, home products, and more. Each box is guaranteed to have a value of at least $200 in products!
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $49.99/quarter or $179 annually. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save $10 on your first box (making your box just $39.99!) with coupon code “FLOWER10“.
Let’s see what’s in the Spring 2019 FabFitFun Box!
The box itself is always beautifully illustrated by a different artist each season. — These colorful cacti make it feel a bit more “summery” than spring, but it’s pretty nonetheless.
A peek inside!
A full-color newspaper style booklet provided details on all of the items included in the Spring 2019 FabFitFun box, along with style tips, interviews, and more.
Unplug Meditation Aromatherapy Diffuser ($55)
Subscribers were able to choose from the aromatherapy diffuser above or a Show Me Your Mumu Robe ($84 value), or a Deux Lux Demi Backpack ($75 value). We already have two diffusers (one in the living room and one in our bedroom), but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have a third one for the kitchen or girl’s room. I also liked that this one came with a bottle of “Happy” essential oil because I LOVE citrus scents. As with many diffusers, this features a built-in light that changes color while your oils… diffuse and comes with an AC adaptor.
QUAY AUSTRALIA Vivienne Sunglasses in Black/Smoke ($60)
Another customization option, subscribers could have chosen the above sunglasses or QUAY AUSTRALIA My Girl Sunglasses in Black/Smoke ($55 value), or Sunnylife Lovers Picnic Set in Malibu ($30 value), or KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial ($48 value). I wouldn’t normally choose sunglasses (I don’t even wear them), but this is a nice brand and figured I would have no problem swapping/selling them. To be honest, none of the items in this particular category really appealed to me. Can’t win ’em all!
Giadzy Copper Plated Measuring Spoons ($15)
I was a bit torn on this choice, as I originally picked the Lavido Aromatic Body Lotion in Mandarin, Orange & Bergamot ($19 value) option, but switched to this measuring spoon set at the last minute. (The third option was a “Mystery Item”.) I really don’t need any more lotions or measuring spoons, but I thought this copper-plated set was pretty. 😉 I just wish it wasn’t hand wash only. Whomp, whomp.
Note: While the 3 items above could be customized by all members, only annual members were able to customize the next two.
S’ip by S’well ($19.99)
Annual members were able to choose from the S’well water bottle above, Ciaté London Extraordinary Translucent Setting Powder ($22 value), or The2Bandits™ Athens Necklace ($30 value). Once again, I don’t really need another water bottle, but I was hoping for a cute design and they delivered! Various colors/designs were sent out at random, so I was happy to receive this fun turquoise and pink (red?) pineapple one. (Is it just me, or do they kind of look like peanuts too? Ha!) The 15-ounce bottle is vacuum insulated to keep your drinks cold for 24 hours or hot for 12. It’s made of food-grade, 18/8 stainless steel and is BPA free.
TULA Purifying Face Cleanser ($28)
The second “select members only” option was the face cleanser above, a Daily Concepts Daily Detox Brush ($18 value), or an EleVen by Venus Jump Rope ($15 value). I originally selected the jump rope, but quickly made the realization that there was a very slim chance that I was actually gonna use it. 😉 To be honest, I won’t use this face cleanser either… But that’s what sell/swap sites are for, right?
Note: ALL members received the following items.
OUAI Leave-In Conditioner ($26)
This multitasking leave-in hair mist has moisturizing properties and thermal protection to reduce frizz and flyaways for smooth, silky hair. To make detangling easier, simply spray on damp hair prior to brushing.
Dr. Brandt Skincare No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing Gel ($42)
Designed for all skin types, this eye de-puffing gel from Dr. Brandt works to tighten and smooth the under-eye area to visibly reduce the appearance of bags and dark circles. It also protects from damage caused by irritants and pollutants. The formula is lightweight and fragrance-free.
Manna Kadar Champagne Body Scrub ($24)
Body scrub is one of those items that pop up in subscription boxes quite often and I can’t say that I’m a fan. It’s just something I don’t really have a use for. Sure, it smells nice and can make your skin softer, but I really don’t have an issue with lack of softness and don’t need to add any extra steps to my skincare routine. For those who do use body scrubs, they’ll be happy to see that this one is formulated with charcoal and Dead Sea minerals to detoxify while it cleanses.
My Spring 2019 FabFitFun box arrived much earlier than my super late Winter box, so that was a plus. I wasn’t too crazy about a lot of the choices, but it was still a solid, high-value offering. My favorite items this season were the aromatherapy diffuser & oil set, copper-plated measuring spoons, and S’ip by S’well water bottle. The total retail value of my (values differ based on your selections) Spring 2019 FabFitFun box was $269.99! — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box (making your box just $39.99!) with coupon code “FLOWER10“!

Hi! FabFitFun actually has different customization options that subscribers are able to choose during a specific time period each season. Annual subscribers are able to customize more items than quarterly subscribers. You should have received an email to let you know when customization was available, unless you subscribed after the customization period was over. If you didn’t select any customizations, you’ll receive the items at random. Hope that helps! 🙂

Well I cancelled my subscription. This is the second time that I don’t get the email to customize. I wish I could’ve chosen the correct sunglass option or the lotion instead of measuring spoons.
