My Summer 2023 FabFitFun box has arrived! — See what customization choices I made in my review below.
FabFitFun is a lifestyle subscription box that sends you a fun assortment of beauty, fitness, and style products on a quarterly basis. New boxes are released every season and will contain a collection of full-sized products handpicked by the FabFitFun team. Items can include a mix of beauty, fashion, fitness, wellness, home products, and more. Annual subscribers are given the option to fully customize their boxes with a variety of product choices every season. Each box is guaranteed to have a value of at least $200 in products!
Disclosure: Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $54.99/quarter or $199.99 annually. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save $10 on your first box just by using this link — making your box just $44.99!
FabFitFun usually has nicely illustrated and/or themed outer boxes… Usually. :/
A peek inside!
Instead of their traditional print magazine with details on all of the items, they now provide a QR code with access to a digital-only version. — However, my box was either missing this code or I tossed it by mistake.
Kate Spade New York Lemon Pitcher & Set of 2 Cups ($38.95 value)
The first customization allowed subscribers to choose from the pitcher & cup set above, ELEMIS Superfood Midnight Facial ($54 value), Beach Riot Beach Club Towel in Pink/Orange Stripe or Pink/Blue Stripe ($78 value), Bala Bangles 1/2lb. Weights + 2 Months Free Online Courses ($88.98 value), Free People Distressed Vegan Wallet ($58 value), Olaplex Nº.4P BLONDE ENHANCER TONING SHAMPOO ($30 value), Sunnylife Underwater Camera ($30 value), OLEHENRIKSEN Lemonade Smoothing Scrub ($35 value), or Gaiam Foldable Yoga Mat in Midsummer Nights ($44.99 value). I was a little torn between the Free People vegan wallet and the Kate Spade set, but ultimately (obviously) went with the latter when I realized that we didn’t own any lidded pitchers. I usually prefer glass, but this BPA-free plastic (acrylic?) set is a lot more kid-friendly. Plus, it’s super cute. 🙂
Short Stories Ceramic Tray – Blue & White Long Tray ($40 value)
The second customization option allowed subscribers to choose from the tray above, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Firming Collagen Cream ($44 value), Beach Riot Melanie Sarong in Miami Peony in Standard & Plus Sizes ($58 value), OUAI Fine to Medium Hair Treatment Masque ($38 value), Sunday Citizen Bath Set – Soap Dispenser & Cup ($60 value), Laneige Hydro UV Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ ($30 value), or Olaplex No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask ($30 value). Although I’m still unsure how/where I’m going to use it, I selected the Short Stories ceramic tray due to its versatility. Since it’s both microwave and dishwasher safe, it can be used in the kitchen as a serving tray — or simply displayed as decor and/or a catchall tray in the bathroom, living room, bedroom… Just about anywhere.
Sunnylife Gold Disco Pool Ring ($34 value)
The third customization options included the pool ring above, Milk Makeup RISE Mascara ($28 value), Volition Beauty Strawberry-C Brightening Serum ($44 value), Nine West Hanging Travel Organizer ($56 value), Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum ($80 value), Elizabeth Stone Mod Bar Studs ($45 value), POPSUGAR Motivational 32 oz Water Bottle ($40 value), Swig Life Stemless Wine Cup (12oz) in Shimmer Rose Gold ($24.95 value), or Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Butter ($28 value). I went with the Sunnylife pool ring mostly because it seemed like the most “fun” option. 😉 It’s a good size — roughly 41 inches in diameter — and I love the pretty free-flowing gold foil pieces inside.
MALIN+GOETZ Rum Hand + Body Wash ($26 value)
The fourth customization was a choice between the hand & body wash above, Sea & Grass Straw Visor with Ribbon ($35 value), Stone Candles Hanging Scented Oval Diffuser in Bamboo ($42 value), Briogeo Superfoods Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture 3-in-1 Leave-In Spray ($25 value), Briogeo Superfoods Banana + Coconut Soft Wave Texture Spray ($25 value), Glowoasis Probiotics + Triple Peptide Refreshing Eye Cream ($48 value), or MYTAGALONGS Digital Luggage Scale ($29 value). I’ve been making my own hand soap with castile soap & essential oils for a few years now. However — I always like to have a couple of store-bought soaps stashed away for travel. (Yes, I bring my own hand soap to hotels. 😉 ) This one has a nice, warm rum-like scent that’s fragrant but not overwhelmingly so.
Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier in Passion Fruit ($24.99 value)
The fifth customization was for annual members only (FabFitFun chooses for seasonal members) and was a choice between the drink mix above, Lilly Pulitzer ID Case in Shade Seekers ($19.95 value), LANEIGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer 20 ml ($23 value), Scentuals Natural & Organic Skin Care De-stress & Sleep Well Roll-On Duo ($28 value), Serumkind Black Blossom Hand Serum ($27 value), or Vacation Classic Lotion SPF 30 ($18 value). The Liquid I.V. electrolyte drink mix was added to this category as a later spoiler and was an easy choice for me. I’m horrible at keeping myself hydrated so these on-the-go packets will be perfect to stash in my bag for upcoming sweltering summer outings. I don’t love that they contain so much sugar (11 grams), but they’re supposed to be super effective at restoring hydration better than with water alone.
Rae Dunn by Magenta Set of 2 Serving Dishes ($40 value)
The final choice (for annual members) was a choice between the dishes above, TOMS Ultimate No Show Socks 3 Pack ($27.95 value), Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer ($32 value), By Rosie Jane Wake The F*ck Up Deodorant ($15 value), Dime Optics Cienega Aviator Sunglasses ($30 value), Grill Girl Digital Meat Thermometer ($29.99 value), L*SPACE Vibrating Massage Ball ($42 value), Rodial Dragons Blood Hyaluronic Drink ($52 value), Studio Oh! Edith Notebook ($22 value), or Selfless by Hyram Centella & Green Tea Hydrating Gel Cleanser ($16 value). Initially I wasn’t going to choose these Rae Dunn serving dishes, but once I saw their small dimensions I was sold. 🙂 Each bowl has a capacity of just over 5 ounces, making them ideal for condiments, garnishes, or other small things. — Which also means they won’t take up much space in my cabinets. Woo!
My Summer 2023 FabFitFun box included a fun curated (by me!) selection of pretty and useful products for summer and beyond. My personal favorites this season were the Kate Spade Lemon Pitcher & Cup Set, Malin + Goetz Rum Hand + Body Wash, Liquid I.V. Drink Mix, and Rae Dunn Serving Dishes. The total retail value of my (values differ based on your selections) Summer 2023 FabFitFun box was just over $200! — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box just by using this link — making your box just $44.99!
