A peek inside!
A full-color newspaper style booklet provided details on all of the items included in the Winter 2018 FabFitFun box, along with style tips, interviews, and more.
Mark & Graham Colorblock Throw ($49)
Subscribers were given the choice of this colorblock throw in either “Natural/Ivory” or “Gray/Ivory” (my pick). The super soft throw is woven from a loose knit and features a striped design with pretty fringe detailing. It’s made of 100% acrylic and measures 50” x 60”. I can never have too many cozy blankets, so this was a nice inclusion. (Note: The photo above shows it monogrammed, but the one included in the box did not include personalization.)
Bearpaw Combo Set: Headband & Pop-Top Glove Duo ($45)
Another customizable item, subscribers were able to choose the Bearpaw set above or a Moroccan Gold Series Treatment Mask ($49 Value). This was an easy decision for me, since I’m in need of another warm pair of gloves. I love that these ones are a fingerless/mitten combo and the color is perfect for my wardrobe. 🙂
Lele Sadoughi Silver Circle Necklace ($49 Value)
Subscribers could choose between the necklace above or either a H Halston Jewelry Portfolio ($48 value) or Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo ($44 value). I don’t really have any need for a jewelry portfolio and I don’t use dry shampoo, so this was another easy pick. The necklace features a silver plated circle disk on a delicate silver-plated brass chain. It has a 19 inch chain with a 3 inch extender and a lobster style closure.
Richer Poorer Reina Over the Knee Textured Sock ($24 Value)
Socks are one of my favorite things to receive in subscription boxes, so again this was an easy customization choice. I could have also selected a Sherrie Matthews Acupuncture Jade Stone Roller ($45 value) or Pür Be Your Selfie Palette ($36 value). These cozy ribbed socks are made from a blend of 55% recycled polyester, 40% recycled cotton, and 5% spandex. They fit over the knee and are great for layering with boots or showing off in a sneaker.
Way of Will Brightening Face Serum ($35)
By the time I logged in to select my customization options, the item i originally wanted (the Chic & Tonic 4-Piece Coaster Set, $18) was already sold out and I wasn’t interested in the Brooke Burke Body Sliders ($18 value) or the Bite Beauty Amuse Rouche Lipstick in “Meringue” ($24 value), so I went with the “Mystery Item”. I don’t use facial serums, so I was a bit disappointed to see this included as my mystery pick — especially after seeing a few of the other options subscribers received. Ah well. Can’t win ’em all.
Anthropologie X Mer-Sea & Co. Sea Whip Body Cream in Coconut Sugar ($24)
The final customization option was a choice between the body cream above and a Way of Will Elevate Essential Oil Set ($31 value). I already have a TON of essential oils, so I went with the body cream (which I kinda also have a ton of). It features a coconut sugar scent and is both sulfate- and paraben-free.
Thrive Causemetics Brilliant Eye Brightener in Stella ($24)
This vegan-friendly eye brightener highlights, brightens and opens the eyes, providing an instant eye lift. You can use it as an upper or lower eyeliner, applied to the brow bone, lids, and the inner & outer corners of the eye. It also features a built-in sharpener and is free of parabens, sulfates, latex, and petrochemicals.
Blaq Hydrogel Eye Mask (5 pack) ($29)
These activated charcoal eye patches are designed to de-puff and detox puffy/swollen eyes after a long night out (or in). They have anti-aging and wrinkle reducing properties and can help to remove dark circles and rejuvenate the skin around the eyes. To use, simply leave the mask under your eye(s) for 10-15 minutes before carefully peeling off.
Ahava Hydration Cream Mask ($33)
This 3-minute mineral-rich mask gently removes oil and environmental impurities from the skin while deeply moisturizing. It can be used as a rinse-off 3-minute mask or worn overnight for intense hydration.
My Winter 2018 FabFitFun box arrived a lot later than usual, but I was still excited to dig in! My favorite items this season were the Mark & Graham throw, Bearpaw Combo Set, Richer-Poorer knee socks, and Lele Sadoughi Silver Circle Necklace. The total retail value of my (values differ based on your selections) Winter 2018 FabFitFun box was $312! — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box (making your box just $39.99!) with coupon code “WINTERFUN“! — Also, through December 27th (I think?) you can grab it for 40% off with coupon code “JOYFUL40“!
