Let’s see what’s in the Winter 2020 FabFitFun Box!
This month’s box was a bit larger than usual and featured a pretty wintery design.
A peek inside!
A full-color magazine style booklet provided details on all of the items/variations included in the Winter 2020 FabFitFun box, along with style tips, interviews, and more.
UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow Blanket ($65 value)
The first customization allowed subscribers to choose from the blanket above, a Vera Bradley Compact Organizer ($50 value), Kate Spade New York Rise & Shine Stud Earrings (Set of 2, $68 value), Summer & Rose Cozy Robe ($70 value), BOMSHBEE Sloane Champagne Flutes (Set of 4, $51 value), LOLI Beauty Tea Seed Elixir ($42 value), or Mobile White Advanced Teeth Whitening Kit ($89.99 value). I loved the UnHide blanket from last winter’s box, so I had to grab a second. (Especially since my kids always tried stealing my first one. 😉 ) The UnHide blanket has become one of the most coveted items by subscribers and its incredible softness is undeniable. [Side note — I also picked up the Summer & Rose robe as an add-on for just $15 and it’s almost just as luxe as the blanket. So cozy!]
Lucky Brand Solid Brushed Scarf ($69.50 Value)
The second customization option allowed subscribers to choose from the scarf above, Lilly Pulitzer Ceramic Mugs, Set of 2 ($42 value), Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet ($39 value), Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion ($78 value), Impressions Vanity Company LED Vanity Mirror ($45 value), or Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm ($68 value). I’m not exactly lacking in scarves (mostly thanks to subscription boxes), but I really liked the color and length of this one so I went for it. Measuring 14” wide by 66” long with 10” fringe on each side, this is the perfect accessory to keep me nice n’ toasty through the coming winter months.
Laura Geller Cinnamon + Spice Eyeshadow Palette ($45 Value)
The third customization options included the palette above, ILIA Beauty Limitless Lash Mascara ($28 value), Dr. Brandt Skincare Pores No More Pore Purifying Cleanser ($36 value), Dr. Brandt Skincare PoreDermabrasion ($58 value),or a Lele Sadoughi Maroon Velvet Headband ($49 value). This was an easy pick for me, since it was the only product I could see myself using out of the bunch. I don’t wear much makeup on the daily, but I almost always wear eyeshadow. This pretty autumn-inspired palette features 12 crease-proof shades in both velvety matte and shimmer suede. They have just the right amount of shimmer and are flattering on many skin tones.
MUK LUKS Cabin Socks ($25 Value)
The fourth customization was for annual members only and was a choice between the cabin socks above, Kate Spade New York Workout Socks (Set of 2 Pairs, $24 value), Voir Haircare Rhythm of the Rain Hair Masque & Scalp Detox ($28 value), TULA SKINCARE Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm ($30 value), or Flight Mode Skincare High-Altitude Hydration Mask ($39 value). I’m a sucker for cozy socks, so the MUK LUKS were another easy choice. I love their adorable pom-pom tassels and the fact that they have grippy material on the soles to prevent slipping. Oh, and the inside is lined with a super soft sherpa fleece material. Co-zeeeeee!
Eparé Cutting Boards – Set of 4 (linked to similar, $19.95 Value)
The final (annual subscriber only) customization was between the cutting board set above, Beautaniq Beauty Guardian Angel Revitalising Eye Gels ($25 value), or dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Dry Shampoo Powder ($24 value). I went with the cutting board set because I figured they’d be a nice alternative to my regular bamboo board since they’re easier to clean (dishwasher safe!). Each board has an image on the lower right corner suggesting what it can be used for. Since I’ll mainly be using mine for fruits & veggies, I’ll probably give two of the “meat” ones to my kiddos to use as art/drawing mats. 🙂
Whish Lip Scrub in Vanilla Bean ($20 Value)
The last 3 items in the box were chosen by FabFitFun. (Subscribers received 3 of 8 different options.) The other possible items I could have gotten for this category were Paradox Lucky Stars Blemish Patches ($18 value) or a B-Low The Belt Croc Card Case ($35 value). If I could have chosen myself, I would have went with the lip scrub so I was happy to receive it. The paraben-free scrub is cruelty-fee and features brown sugar & organic shea butter that work together to exfoliate and soften your lips.
Noir Jewelry Ombre Leopard Scrunchies ($25 Value)
The second FabFitFun pick was either the scrunchie set above or a Daily Concepts Daily Facial Dry Brush ($20 value). I honestly didn’t have much of a preference for either item, so I was fine with the scrunchies. We’re not really fans of animal print in our house, but these will be nice for gifting to someone who is. (Though I have no idea how they’re valued at $25…)
KUR Londontown Get Well Nail Recovery Treatment ($20 Value)
The final FabFitFun pick I received was the nail gel above. The other 2 possibilities were Aesthetica Liquid Eyeliner ($21 value) or Phase Zero Makeup Making Moves Blusher ($27.50 value). As with the last category, I wasn’t all that interested in any of the products offered so I didn’t mind which one I received. According to the info booklet, this nail recovery treatment is formulated to nourish your nails with a blend of alpha hydroxy acids and vitamins B5 and C. I’m too lazy to bother with nail products other than polish, so this will be another holiday gift for someone with a little more enthusiasm for nail health. 😉
Bonus Items
Also included were a bonus KIND Thins Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt Bar and a winter-themed FabFitFun sticker. 🙂
The Winter 2020 FabFitFun box included some great items to keep me cozy both indoors and out. My personal favorites this season were the Summer & Rose Robe (add-on), UnHide Blanket, Lucky Brand Scarf, Laura Geller Eyeshadow Palette, MUK LUKS Cabin Socks, and Eparé Cutting Board Set. The total retail value of my (values differ based on your selections) Winter 2020 FabFitFun box was just under $300! — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box (making your box just $39.99 shipped!) just by using this link!
