My Winter 2023 FabFitFun box has arrived! — See what customization choices they chose for me in my review below.
FabFitFun is a lifestyle subscription box that sends you a fun assortment of beauty, fitness, and style products on a quarterly basis. New boxes are released every season and will contain a collection of full-sized products handpicked by the FabFitFun team. Items can include a mix of beauty, fashion, fitness, wellness, home products, and more. Annual subscribers are given the option to fully customize their boxes with a variety of product choices every season. Each box is guaranteed to have a value of at least $200 in products!
Disclosure: Box was received for review. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $59.99/quarter or $219.99 annually. Shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can save $10 on your first box! — Just use coupon code “2LRB10” at checkout!
Everything was shipped in a light green (mint?) colored box printed with the phrase “So nice, it almost feels naughty”.
A peek inside!
Instead of their traditional print magazine with details on all of the items, they now provide a QR code with access to a digital-only version. — However, my box was missing this code. (I’m guessing because I received it for review?)
Free People Fringe Throw Blanket ($78 value)
The first customization allowed subscribers to choose from the throw blanket above, Splendid Velour Robe – S/M, L/XL, Plus ($64 value), haps Votive Set ($45 value), Commodity Milk Expressive ($75 value), ELEMIS Pro Collagen Marine Cream ($93 value), Macy Blackwell Tiered App Tray ($45 value), Fenty Skin Watch Ya Tone 5% Niacinamide Dark Spot Serum with Vitamin C ($42 value), Insert Name Here Insert Waves Here ($72 value), Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Studded Crossbody ($59 value), Amber Sceats Stella Crystal Bag ($98 value), or LANEIGE Water Bank Serum ($45 value).
I was SO excited to see the Free People blanket when I opened my box, as it was the #1 item I was hoping to get! It’s hard to capture its texture with photos, but believe me when I tell you that this thing is SOFT. Like, incredibly so. When you think of curling up with a blanket on a blustery winter day, this is the blanket you’ll want to have. Not only is it cozy, but I love the fun multi-colored stripes and fun fringe details. So pretty! Oh — it’s generously sized too, at 60 inches long by 51 inches wide. 🙂
Citrine Atlas Cocktail Glass – Set of 2 ($40 value)
The second customization option allowed subscribers to choose from the glass set above, ELEMIS Peptide4 Eye Recovery Cream ($49 value), Poketo Glass Candlestick Holder – Set of 2 ($56 value), Macy Blackwell Cheese Knives ($40 value), Olaplex Nº.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum ($30 value), SusieCakes LLC Cake Stand ($30 value), Ana Luisa Toda Mini Earrings – Gold Tone ($65 value), or NARS Air Matte Lip Color in Chaser, Joyride, Surrender, Shag, or Thrust ($28 value).
Do I really need more drinking vessels in my life? Nope. Am I going to make room in my cupboard for this set anyway? Heck yeah I am! 😉 These 10-ounce glasses were “carefully crafted with a natural bubble texture, providing a truly unique and artisanal touch”. They’re the perfect size (5″ diameter x 4 ” tall) for water, cocktails, juice, or just about anything really. Plus, they’re dishwasher & microwave safe!
Coach Cable Knit Winter Headband ($50 value)
The third customization options included the headband above, dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Exfoliating Scalp Detox ($35 value), Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum – 3 Month Supply ($68 value), MALIN+GOETZ Peppermint Body Scrub ($32 value), Lemme Irish Sea Moss Liquid Drops ($25 value), Lemme Matcha Energy B12 Gummies ($30 value), Beauty Bakerie The Chosen Bun Eyeshadow Palette ($38 value), or OUAI Leave In Conditioner ($30 value).
I didn’t have a particular item that I was hoping to receive for this customization category, so I was just fine with what I was sent — a $50(!) Coach headband. Now, I’ll readily admit that I would never spend $50 on a single winter accessory (let alone a headband), but that’s what makes subscription boxes like FabFitFun so great. — You can score designer items at a super affordable price. I personally don’t wear winter headbands, but I’m still happy to have gotten it because I know it’ll make a really nice gift for someone come Christmas. 🙂
Topicals Faded Under Eye Masks – 6pk ($22 value)
The fourth customization was a choice between the under eye masks above, This Works Deep Sleep Overnight Cleanser ($20 value), By/Rosie Jane Dulce Travel Spray ($28 value), Sewing Down South Cooking Apron in Perfectly Plaid ($30 value), Slip Skinny Scrunchie Trio Ornament – Candy, Blush, Primrose ($22 value), or Melissa Wood Health Yoga Block + 1 Month Subscription ($28 value).
These cooling hydrogel under eye masks are designed to “reduce dark spots, improve the appearance of fine lines and invigorate the eyes for a healthier, fresher look”. They promise visible results in just 15 minutes and can be used 2-3 times per week for continued improvement. They’re safe for sensitive skin and are never tested on animals.
Natura Brasil Castanha Nourishing Hand Cream ($18 value)
The fifth customization was for annual members only (FabFitFun chooses for seasonal members) and was a choice between the hand cream above, Haps Candle Wick Trimmer ($16 value), Playground Water Based Personal Lubricant – Love Sesh or Date Night ($25 value), AEROSOLES Faux Fur Earmuffs ($25 value), INH Insert Name Here 444 Hair Pin Pack ($18 value), Waterdrop Best Sellers Microdrink Discovery Kit ($20 value), or Aceology Probiotic Restoring Biodegradable Mask – 4 Pack ($59 value).
Yay! — I was hoping for this hand cream! My skin is already starting to feel the effects of the cooler weather, so it came at the perfect time. It’s formulated with sustainably sourced castanha oil and murumuru butter to deeply nourish & moisturize the skin without it feeling greasy (yuck!). It’s 100% vegan-friendly and has a nice, light scent. I’ve already begun using it and I’m most definitely a fan!
Marlyn Schiff Double Layered Necklace ($38 value)
The final choice (for annual members) was a choice between the necklace above, 111SKIN Celestial Black Diamond Brightening Essence ($43 value), Versed Skin Press Restart Gentle Retinol Serum ($21.99 value), Londontown INC. Frosted Berries Nail Lakur Duo ($32 value), Hanky Panky Wash & Wear Bags ($36 value), Caraway Pot Holder Round – Set of 2 ($30 value), or Sassy Woof Leash & Potty Pal Combo ($31.98 value).
This double layered necklace from Marlyn Schiff features a 16 inch chain with a 2 inch drop for a fun layered look with just a single necklace. The shorter “layer” is accented with a small gold-colored bead, while the main/longest layer displays a shimmering (slightly larger) clear stone/crystal. My accessory-obsessed tween daughter wasted no time asking if she could have this for herself, so I said yes… but she’d have to wait for Christmas. One less gift to buy! 😉
My Winter 2023 FabFitFun box contained a great collection of products — some that I’ll be enjoying for myself and some that will make amazing gifts this holiday season. My personal favorites this time were the Free People Fringe Throw Blanket (LOVE!), Citrine Atlas Cocktail Glasses, super gift-able Coach Winter Headband, Natura Brasil Castanha Nourishing Hand Cream, and Marlyn Schiff Layered Necklace. The total retail value of my (values differ based on your selections) Winter 2023 FabFitFun box was just over $240! — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box! — Just use coupon code “2LRB10” at checkout!
