Let’s see what’s in the March 2018 My Fairy Tale Box PLUS!
Everything was shipped in a full-color box with holiday images printed along the edges.
A peek inside!
An envelope with my girls’ names on it held a personalized letter from Eddie the Easter Bunny! This “official correspondence” described some of the items included in March’s box, as well as some lesser known holidays celebrated this month — like National Oreo Day on March 6th and National Chocolate Caramel Day on March 19th.
Additional lesser known national holidays were also printed on calendars for both March & April.
For parents, a separate info sheet listed every single item included in this month’s box.
Egg Head Game
While this game looks like fun, I decided to hold off opening it up until it’s warm enough to do outside. It’s played by filling 1-3 of the reusable plastic eggs with water, then mixing them in the tray with the empty eggs. Each player rolls the included die that instructs them to either choose an egg to crack on their own head, someone else’s head, or to choose a player to crack it on theirs. The last player left with a dry head is the winner.
Egg Splat Ball
My girls love anything that’s squishy (and/or gross), so of course they’re all about this gooey egg splat ball! Just give it a good squeeze and the yellow “yolk” inside is revealed. Gross, but fun. 😉
Dudley’s Disney Egg Decorating Kit
A Disney princess themed egg decorating kit that includes 48 stickers, 1 egg dipper, 5 coloring tablets, 1 pop-out drying tray, and 9 fun tops. — Everything you need (and more) to color your Easter eggs.
St. Patrick’s Day Mobile Craft Kit
March’s box included items for both Easter and St. Patrick’s Day. This easy to assemble craft featured a colorful rainbow, green clovers, and a pot of gold — complete with glittery coins.
Mini Dominoes
A cute set of mini dominoes tucked into a festive green Easter themed pouch. My girls don’t know how to actually play dominoes, but they love anything with small pieces so I’m sure this will be a hit.
Blank Cards & Envelopes
Five colored cards were included for your child to decorate and give to friends & loved ones. They’re blank (white) inside for your child to write their own personalized message and come with matching envelopes.
Crayola Crayons
A 24-pack of classic Crayola crayons was included for using with the other items in the box, as well as any future creative endeavors. 🙂
St. Patrick’s Day Foam Stickers
A full sheet of St. Patrick’s Day themed foam stickers for decorating the cards above or to add even more flair to the completed rainbow mobile craft.
Easter Gliders
Two brightly colored foam gliders were included for a little flying fun.
Hatchimals Hatchtastic Jumbo Card Game
We recently instituted a “Friday Family Game Night” in our house, so this will be great to add to our current game rotation. It comes with 40 jumbo cards, 1 die, 18 hatch tokens, 1 collectible figure, and 1 collectible egg. Each player takes turns drawing a card to collect hatch tokens and hopefully win the game.
Glitter Goo Easter Egg
More gooey goodness! This plastic Easter egg opens up to reveal a glittery glob of slippery slime. 🙂
Velvet Easter Poster
These velvet posters are always fun to color, since you never have to worry about coloring outside of the lines. This one is Easter-themed and comes with 3 mini markers.
Hoppin’ Around Sticker Book
This colorful sticker book is loaded with 228 Easter themed stickers. — Flowers, bunnies, chicks, lambs, eggs, butterflies, and more. There’s even a few carrots, which my carrot-obsessed daughter immediately squealed over. 😉
Easter Egg Stickers, Mini Coloring Book, Crayons
More stickers for sticking and a mini coloring book & crayons for coloring. (And more carrots!)
Tissue Acetate Easter Bunny Craft Kit
A cute Easter Bunny craft that involves creating colorful bunny ears using the included multi-colored tissue paper squares and clear acetate ear pieces. We’re going to wait until it’s closer to Easter to make this lil’ guy.
Collectible Pin
A sweet little white bunny pin that your child can wear for Easter and beyond.
Holiday Candies
The box also included a few holiday treats: Candy Eggs, marshmallow Bunny Tails, Conversation Bunnies & Eggs, and 2 chocolate gold coins.
Postcard
Prior to receiving our box, we were also sent a postcard from Santa welcoming us into his “Circle of Magical Friends”. Subscribers of the “PLUS” box & the Postcard subscription will also receive a new personalized card on a weekly basis.
I’ve always LOVED celebrating the holidays and seasons as a kid, so I was immediately excited upon opening the March My Fairy Tale Box. (My daughters were too. 😉 ) I couldn’t believe how many items were packed inside. — So much fun stuff! There’s no doubt that I would have absolutely begged my parents for this subscription if it existed back in the day. Such a great box to get kids excited for the upcoming holidays and changing seasons throughout the year. Loved it!! — Remember, for a limited time (thru 3/25) you can save 25% on your first order with coupon code “2LR25“!
