Batch Nashville is a regional subscription service that delivers the best that Nashville has to offer. They include goods from a variety of designers, artisans, and chefs. From local honey, to homemade chocolates, to handcrafted soap, and everything in between — each Batch has a little something for everyone.
Batch Nashville is $31.98/month, or you can purchase a seasonal 3-month sub for $97. Annual subs are also available. Shipping is always free and boxes usually arrive the first week of every month.
February’s Batch was themed “Movie Night” and included lots of goodies to indulge in while watching your favorite film. Let’s take a look!
My Batch was shipped in a no frills (but large) cardboard box with their logo stamped on the front. I meant to take a photo of the info card, but totally forgot. But they definitely have one (and like the box, it was also large.) Everything’s bigger in… Nashville?
Lisa’s Kettle Corn in Caramel – Woo! I was super happy to see this big ol’ bag of kettle corn. I love this stuff! When I saw it was caramel flavored, I was a little worried that it might contain dairy, but it doesn’t. Yay! This is a generously sized 5-serving bag. (Which means I should probably share some with my husband… Ehhh… Or not.) You can’t have a movie night without popcorn. No sir.
Tempur by CG Artisanal Truffles – These dark & milk chocolate truffles are crafted by Chelsea Gunn, a chef who was trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. She uses rich Belgian chocolate to make decadent truffles and dark & milk chocolate rochers. The truffles in this box are surrounded by mini marshmallows, which I thought was odd, until I saw the note on the side. Apparently marshmallows not only serve as a protective cushion to keep the truffles in tact, but they also absorb moisture to keep ’em fresh. Who knew?
White’s Elixirs Saigon Cinnamon Simple Syrup – Okay, I know nothing about cocktails, so the fact that this can be used to make (flavor?) ’em is totally lost on me. However, the bottle also says I can use it on pancakes, oatmeal, coffee, “and more”. I’m taking the “and more” to mean ice cream. Cinnamon syrup on vanilla ice cream sounds pretty damn tasty. Mmm.
Bang Candy Company Handmade Marshmallows – These aren’t your ordinary marshmallows! This box contains four uniquely flavored pieces: Rose Cardamom, Toasted Coconut Almond, Chocolate Chile, and Orange Ginger Cinnamon. They’re made in small batches using quality ingredients and contain no artificial flavors or colors.
Cocktail Napkins – These were designed by Batch Nashville in-house to add a “stylish look” to your movie-watching par-tay. Though they’d be more suited for an awards show type deal. Either way, they’re super soft, quality napkins.
Batch Nashville did a great job with the curation of this box. All of the items fit well with the “Movie Night” theme (popcorn, treats, beverage enhancer, napkins). The only thing missing were some hand-knit slippers to cozy up with on the couch with your bowl o’ popcorn.
Interested in trying out Batch Nashville? They’ve got some fun themes coming up: Family Tradition (March), Country Roads (April), and Grillin’ & Chillin’ (May). I’m really curious what the Family Tradition Batch will include. Sounds neat! 🙂
