I’ve always been curious about bluum, so I finally took the plunge and signed up!
bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies & kiddos from birth through age 5. Every box will contain 5 or more products that are responsibly sourced, eco-friendly and often organic.
There used to be monthly “themes”, but they’ve recently moved away from that and instead curate each box based upon your child’s current age in months.
My girls are currently 18 months old, so the box I received was for 19 months. Let’s see what they sent!
First look. They don’t include an info sheet with the box, but instead send it via email once it’s delivered.
Here’s what was inside!
Melissa & Doug Rainbow Stacker – This totally would have been my favorite item in the box IF we didn’t already have it. 🙁 Ah well… It’s not bluum’s fault. Anywhooo… I love Melissa & Doug products and this stacker is no exception. It’s made of solid wood, sanded smooth, and painted with bright, non-toxic paints. A high quality, classic toy that every kid should have. (Amazon Price: $8.27)
Circle of Friends Blueberry Shampoo – Woah! This stuff smells sooo good! It’s a big, full-size (10 oz) bottle of kid-friendly tearless shampoo that smells like blueberries. Mmmm. It says that it’s ideal for thick/curly hair, as it helps to reduce tangles, but it’s totally fine for any hair type. I’m sure any kid would be more than happy to use a shampoo that smells like blueberries. Hell, I would. 😉 (Amazon Price: $16.75)
Purple Brinware Silicone Placemat – 100% non-toxic/hypoallergenic silicone placemat with a fun design to help kids learn their numbers while they eat. This non-slip mat will stay right in place to hopefully prevent some of those inevitable mealtime messes. It’s dishwasher safe and rolls right up for easy storage/transport. (Amazon Price: roughly $9.00 [sold in sets of 2 for $17.99])
Weleda Baby Calendula Weather Protection Cream – Thanks to the especially bitter winter this year, a weather protection cream is something we can totally use. This cream is gentle enough for babies, but can also be used by adults with dry, sensitive skin. (Amazon Price: $10.19)
Earth Friendly Products Baby ECOS Stain & Odor Remover – Non-toxic stain/odor remover made with plant-based ingredients. Safe for rugs, clothing, floors, and more. (Amazon Price: $3.99 for 22 ounce size, 4 oz bottle included: roughly $0.72)
Although I wish we didn’t already have the stacker, I was still pretty happy with my bluum box. All of the other products will get used and I really like that most of them were full sized. I’ve seen mixed reviews of these boxes, but so far I’d say I’m a fan. Oh! And the total of everything in the box comes to $44.93 — almost double the cost of the month-to-month sub! Woo!
If you’d like to sign up for bluum, you can save 50% off your first box just by clicking the link and entering the code “TRYBLUUM“. Boxes are normally $24.95, but by using the link, your first month will be only $12.47! If you decide you don’t like it, you can cancel anytime. 🙂
Disclosure: I purchased this box on my own. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post contains affiliate links. Amazon prices subject to change at any time.

So do you like Citrus Lane or Bluum better. I am not sure if I am going to extend my Citrus Lane or not.

I’m not sure yet, since this is my very first bluum box. I know they can be hit or miss, but I suppose any box can be. Just depends on what you personally like. I say give it a try and use the 50% off link. If you don’t like it, cancel. 🙂
