Wantable Intimates February 2014 Review

Don’t be fooled by this small, slightly battered black box… There’s a whole lotta sexy inside! (Read on!)

Wantable is a monthly subscription service that offers personalized boxes in 3 different categories: Makeup, Accessories, and Intimates. Each box they send is tailored to your individual likes and dislikes, which you specify in your profile upon signing up. Don’t want thongs in your Intimates box? No problem! No use for earrings? They won’t send ’em! They want you to be 100% happy with your box… In fact, if you don’t like everything, you can send it all back for FREE! Yep. Free returns, no questions asked. Pretty cool, right?

All of the products you receive in your Wantable box will be full-sized, high quality items. No skimpy samples or dollar store junk here! Some of the brands they’ve featured in past boxes include Betsey Johnson, FACE Stockholm, Color Club, Besame, Kibys, LAQA & Co, Glam Natural, Soxxy, Coobie, NCLA, and more!

Alright, I think it’s time to take a look at what I received, yes?… Let’s gooo!

Here’s my first look. As you can see, the box is literally stuffed with cuteness.

Why does the card say “Oops!”, you ask? Great question! Remember when I mentioned that they offer free returns if you don’t 100% love your box? Welp, I totally took them up on that. My first box included a pretty blue camisole, which was nice n’ all, but I had marked camis as “DISLIKE” on my Wantable profile. (I just don’t dig ’em.) So I emailed them explaining the situation. Apparently the cami was labeled as “loungewear” in their system, which was why I ended up with it (I have loungewear marked as “LIKE”). They told me that they totally understood and emailed me a shipping label to mail my box back.

I had heard that Wantable’s customer service is amazing and that you can tell them the sort of pieces that you’re hoping to receive before your box is sent and if there’s enough time/stock, they’ll try to accommodate your wishes. So when I emailed them I mentioned that I loved the 2 pair of undies that were included and that I was hoping to get some sort of nightie in place of the cami.

Did they listen?…

Heck yeah, they did! Just look at that pile of loveliness! 😀 Okay… here’s the goods:

Fleur’t Top Drawer Panty in Black/Nude Lace – These are officially my favorite pair of undies. I LOVE them. Not only are they pretty, with a lil’ dash of sexy… they’re also super comfy and fit perfectly. I’ve had awful luck with sizing when I order undies online, but these feel like they were custom made for my body. Seriously. They couldn’t be more perfect. (Amazon price: $32-35)

St. Eve Knot Front All Over Lace Chemise in Plum – The nightie!! This is so pretty and totally something I would have picked out myself. It has allover see-through lace with a little lining in the “boobie area”. (Fashion blogger, I am not!) The color is really pretty and goes well with my fair skin tone. Love it! (Retail Price: $36)

Q-T Intimates Bikini in Black – Can’t go wrong with black undies. I love the pretty lace detail on these. The little silver heart charm isn’t really my style, but it’s cute. It definitely doesn’t take away from the fact that, like the other undies I received, these fit perfectly. Another win! (Retail Price: $10)

Wantable Seamless Footless Fleece Leggings in Black – I seriously LIVE in leggings these days, so these are great. I have a pair cheaper fleece leggings that I love, but can no longer wear outside of the house because they got completely covered in lint after just a few wears. 🙁 The feel of these ones seem like much better quality, so my fingers are crossed that these will be able to withstand the massive amount of lint that seems to live in my house. (Retail Price: $24)

To say that I loved my Wantable experience is an understatement. Sure, my initial box left a little to be desired… so I sent it back (with no cost to me). They then replaced it with a box full of freakin’ awesome pieces that are absolutely perfect for me. Their customer service is some of the best I’ve ever encountered via sub boxes. They want you to be happy and do whatever they can to make it happen.

Wantable boxes are just $40 each (as a one-time purchase), OR $36 when you sign up for their month-to-month plan. You can pause your membership or cancel at any time. Oh, and shipping is always free!

All totaled, the items in my box come to $104!! Would I personally pay that much on my own? Not likely. Would I pay $36 for it all? Heck yes! I love you, Wantable! 😀
