I haven’t received a From the Lab box since February, so I kinda thought the subscription was gone for good. — Guess I thought wrong!
If you’re new to them, From the Lab is a monthly beauty box that sends you luxury brand beauty products at a drastically lower cost — months before they’re released to the US market. They source their products from some of the same beauty labs that luxury brands develop their lines in. However, they’re able to offer them at a much lower cost because they don’t do extensive marketing campaigns or worry about pretty packaging. This also allows them to get the products to you as early as 18 months before they hit store shelves.
All of the products offered by From the Lab are held to strict European safety standards and are fully tested and approved before being accepted by them. All of the formulas are also cruelty/animal-free (yay!) and contain only clean ingredients. They’re also gluten-free! Each shipment will contain a 30-day supply of 1 to 3 skin care, hair care, or cosmetic items. Boxes are $19.95/month (plus shipping), or less with longer commitments.
Let’s see what’s in the July 2015 From the Lab box!
The box contained an info booklet, a thank you card with a $25 credit, and this month’s featured product.
Essential Face Serum No. 640 – This is described as a 5-in-1 serum that hydrates, firms, & evens out your skin tone, as well as reduces fine lines & wrinkles, and reduces puffiness and dark circles around the eyes. Only 2 drops is all you need to see visible results. Just smooth into your skin in the morning after cleansing and follow with your regular moisturizer. It can also be used at night for an extra boost.
The info booklet details everything you need to know about the serum including how to use it and the featured ingredients that make it so effective.
I’ve been starting to use serums on a regular basis, so I was happy to see a new one in July’s From the Lab box. I haven’t tried it out yet, since I still need to finish up my current one, but I’m definitely putting it next in line.
For some reason their site says that memberships are currently full, but you can still sign up for a free account to receive $5 off your first shop order!
