Let’s see what’s in the December 2016 My Geek Box!
The big blue box.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the items in December’s box, along with brief descriptions for each one.
“Straight Outta Gotham” T-Shirt
This tee features a geeky take on NWA’s album/title track “Straight Outta Compton”, but (obviously) with “Gotham” in place of “Compton”. My husband is a fan of both NWA and Batman, so this is perfect. 🙂
Cult Vinyl Dredd Figure
It looks like Cult Vinyl is a brand new line of vinyl figures that just launched in December. My Geek Box was the first to introduce them with this exclusive Dredd figure (Cult Vinyl #1!). Cool!
Deadpool 2017 Calendar
“Check out the chump with the Deadpool calendar!” Ha. This official Marvel 2017 calendar is chock full o’ color images featuring everyone’s favorite antihero. It’s a smaller size (maybe 6″ x 6″), making it ideal for hanging in a cubical/desk area/bathroom/wherever.
Turncoat Graphic Novel
According to Amazon, Turncoat is a collection of the entire 6-issue run of the popular webcomic of the same name. It was created by Ryan O’Sullivan and Plaid Klaus in 2014, despite the two of them never having met. (Ryan is from London, England, and Klaus is from New York.) It follows the story of Duke, the world’s worst superhero assassin, and his constant battle with his ex-wife-and-rival assassin, Sharon.
Kid Robot Homer Simpson Buddha Vinyl Figure
I received this same figure via Loot Crate back in September 2015. It’s a 3-inch gold colored vinyl figure featuring a zenned out Homer Simpson perched upon a giant donut with a mala in one hand and a pretzel in the other.
I was really happy with December’s My Geek Box. The t-shirt was great and it was cool to get the first vinyl figure from a new line. 🙂 — Remember if you’d like to subscribe, for a limited time you can get free shipping on your first box. (No coupon needed.)
