It’s September 2016 My Geek Box unboxing time!
If you’re not aware, My Geek Box is a monthly geek/gamer subscription box based out of the UK. Each box will feature a limited edition t-shirt, along with 4 to 7 other geek-inspired goodies. Items can include collectible figures, books, wearables, mugs, keychains, toys, comics, and more. They also offer a Pop! and a Top box that includes a t-shirt and mystery Funko Pop! vinyl figure, as well as My Geek Box Kids that features more kid-friendly geek & gamer items.
My Geek Box subscriptions are $26.09/month (plus $3.99 shipping), or less with multi-month commitments. — For a limited time, you can get free shipping on your first box. (No coupon needed.)
Let’s see what’s in the September 2016 My Geek Box!
The familiar blue box.
A peek inside. — As always, there wasn’t any kind of info card/booklet included, so I’ll just jump right to the geeky goodies!
Mos Eisley T-Shirt – I had to consult my husband first, but I now know that this tee is a riff on the Hard Rock Cafe logo — replacing it with the name of the bar from the first Star Wars movie.
Dorbz Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Jacob Figure – I love these totally adorbs Funko figures! My husband used to play Assassin’s Creed all the damn time and it drove me nuts… This figure, however, is more than welcome in my home. 😉
Big Bad Bot Inc. T-Shirt – Two shirts in one box! I have no idea what this one is in reference to (if anything?) and my husband was no help. That said, it’s still a nice geeky lookin’ shirt.
Adventure Time Jake & Tree Trunks Figure Set – I’ve never watched Adventure Time, but it looks weird & quirky enough that I could probably get into it. This figure set features two characters from the show — Jake and “Tree Trunks”.
Pikachu Poster – This BIG poster measures roughly 24″ x 36″ and makes it very clear that “Your Country Pikachu Needs YOU”.
Yet another nice selection of geeky goods from My Geek Box. I was surprised to see two shirts this month and was happy to add another Dorbz to my collection. — Remember if you’d like to subscribe, for a limited time you can get free shipping on your first box. (No coupon needed.)
