March 2017 Gentleman’s Box review time!
If you haven’t heard, Gentleman’s Box is a men’s subscription box that delivers a monthly selection of essentials designed for the modern gentleman. Each box will consist of 4 to 6 hand-selected products for men, accompanied by a one-year subscription to GQ magazine (US and Canada only). To pay homage to the iconic men of the world, a new gentleman is selected as each month’s theme. The products inside each Gentleman’s Box are picked to reflect the class and style of that month’s featured individual. Items can include wardrobe accessories such as ties, cufflinks, pocket squares, & socks, as well as grooming supplies like lotions, cleansers, and fragrances.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $25/month or less with an annual commitment. Shipping is free within the US. — For a limited time, you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “GB10OFF”!
Let’s see what’s in the March 2017 Gentleman’s Box!
As always, everything was shipped in a small box with a manly faux wood design.
A peek inside!
An info booklet let subscribers know which “iconic gentleman” was being honored in March’s box through a mini bio and not so subtle hints (they never just spell it out). It was also loaded with plenty of information including product info, healthy living tips, style inspiration, relationship advice, and more.
Gentlemen Essentials Accessory Tray ($35)
Designed exclusively for Gentleman’s Box, this leather accessory tray is an ideal catchall for cufflinks, keys, watches, and anything else used on a daily basis. I love the look of the red, white & blue plaid and almost wanted to use it myself until I saw that it was made of real leather. 😉
Armoir Fashion Leather Bracelet ($28)
I think this is probably the manliest bracelet I’ve ever gotten in a men’s subscription box. It’s a simple handcrafted leather band with three metal fasteners to allow for the best fit. Very rugged and understated. I almost think my non-bracelet-wearing husband would rock something like this. Almost.
Unsimply Stitched Socks ($12)
I LOVE getting socks in subscription boxes — even when they’re intended for men. Since my husband prefers more solid/boring styles, I have an ever-growing collection of colorful/patterned socks for myself. This pair was designed exclusively for Gentleman’s Box and reminds me of neatly sorted rainbow sprinkles. 😉
Defined Men Leather Cufflinks ($29)
I wasn’t sure how these cufflinks were supposed to be worn, but according to the Defined Men website they “create a wrap around the french cuff of your dress shirt with the leather rope design”. I’m still not totally sure what that means, but I’m guessing actual wearers of cufflinks could easily figure it out.
Kiko Cord Holder ($5)
This simple little holder is made with reinforced leather to keep all of your cords untangled and ready for use.
Although I wasn’t too stoked about all the leather (being a vegan and all), I still thought this month’s Gentleman’s Box was nicely curated and had an impressive value. The total retail value of March’s offering was almost $100! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first box (this one!) with coupon code “GB10OFF”!

Oh geez. What’s with all that leather! February’s box was way better & vegan friendly.

Yeah, I hear ya. Good thing I’m not their target market. 😉 I loved the socks though!
