GlobeIn is a monthly subscription box that features handcrafted goods by artisans around the world.
Each box features a themed collection of 4-5 hand-crafted items, produced by artisans from all around the world. There are more than 5 box themes available each month, and you have the opportunity to choose which one you’d like to receive. If you prefer to be surprised, you can also choose ‘Surprise’ and they’ll make the choice for you.
GlobeIn helps to bring income and exposure to small artists, while introducing you to beautiful pieces of their culture. Many of the products included are eco-friendly, fairly traded, and/or organic.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $38/month (with 3-month plan) or less with multi-month commitments. — For a limited time, you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
Let’s see what’s inside the GlobeIn April 2021 “Pause Box”!
Everything was shipped in a rectangular pink & white box with the GlobeIn logo on the side.
Instead of their previous booklet format, GlobeIn now sends an info card with a QR code which you can scan for full details about the items in each box. (You can also choose to simply go to the url printed on the card as well.)
Bolster Meditation Cushion, Taiwan (Mai Vietnamese Handicrafts)
It’s kind of tough to tell from the photos above, but this cushion is HUGE! — It measures an impressive 22 inches long and 7 inches in diameter. Handcrafted out of various silks, this artisan-made piece is designed to assist you in positioning your body comfortably in yoga and/or meditation. It even has a built-in strap on one of the ends to easily carry it wherever you choose to go. Of course, you can use it however you see fit… I’ve been propping it behind my lower back when I relax on the couch to give my back a little extra support. 🙂
Reactive Glaze Teacup, Thailand (Marquet)
This pretty teacup was handcrafted by ceramic-making artisans who take great pride in their work. Its unique two-tone, ombre-like design is the result of a special glazing process which requires meticulous skill and detail to achieve. The beautiful turquoise shade is perfect for evoking a sense of calm as you drink your morning java. Measurements are 4.75″ wide x 3″ in diameter x 3.5″ high and it has an 8 ounce capacity.
1-Minute Handmade Hourglass, India (Noah’s Ark)
How neat is this little hourglass?! It was handmade in India by skilled artisans employed by Noah’s Ark, a company who produces ethically-made products and is committed to Fair Trade principles. The timer measures 1.5 inches in diameter x 3.25 inches high and is made of brass/metals.
I hadn’t reviewed a GlobeIn box in quite some time, so I was excited to check out the “Pause Box”. While I probably won’t use the meditation pillow for actual meditation purposes, it works wonderfully for supporting my lower back when I recline on the couch. 😉 I love the pretty glazing on the teacup/mug and my daughters are fascinated by the handmade hourglass. 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “WELCOME“!

Omg how CUTE is that mug?
Just when I think there aren’t any new ideas for subscription boxes, I’m proven wrong by everyones ingenuity.
Thanks for reviewing this. I never would have known about it otherwise!
