Let’s see what’s inside the August 2019 “Salud” GlobeIn box!
Everything was shipped in a square pink & white box with the GlobeIn logo on the side.
A peek in the box!
A small info booklet featured full color photos and background information on all of the products included in the box, as well as the artisans who created them.
Personal Sangria Pitcher – Dark Blue, Morocco ($40)
This personal sangria pitcher was handcrafted by Moroccan master ceramicists using skills that have been passed down from generation to generation. Its hand-painted design was inspired by the contrasting landscapes and cultures of Morocco (Berber, Saharian, Arab, and African). The pitcher is 100% food safe and measures 6.5 inches high by 7 inches wide.
Palm Leaf Fan, Mexico ($15)
Thankfully, this summer hasn’t been too unbearable heat-wise, but there were definitely a few times when this “old school” fan would have been nice to have around. Hand-woven by Mexican artisans, the fan is crafted entirely from palm leaves. It measures roughly 14 inches long by 9 inches wide.
Stemless Wine Glass – Green Swirl, Mexico ($15)
I love when GlobeIn includes pretty glassware — I just wish they had sent a pair, instead of this one single wine glass. Still, I’m happy to have it. 🙂 Made out of recycled materials (well, just glass), this piece was crafted by a master glassblower in Mexico. It measures 4 inches high and is intended for cool/cold drinks only.
Tropical Glass Stirrers – Set of 6, Mexico ($12)
Aw, how cute are these stirrers? Crafted by the same group of glassblowing artisans as the wine glass above, each stirrer is made with recycled glass and constructed entirely by hand. Six different designs were included: parrot, whale (my favorite!), palm tree, starfish, cactus, and dolphin.
Dried Fair Trade Mangoes by Level Ground, Colombia ($7)
This healthy snacks consists of 100% dried organic mango — and nothing else! It has no added sugar, sulphites, or preservatives of any kind. The mangoes are grown on organic Colombian farms using fair trade practices. My super picky kids asked to try these and I was pleasantly surprised (shocked?) to find that they liked them and came back for more!
August’s “Salud” themed GlobeIn box included a nice collection of artisan-made goods to help you relax and unwind as the summer comes to an end. My favorite pieces were green swirl wine glass, palm leaf fan, glass stirrers, and yummy mangoes. 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first Premium box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
