Let’s see what’s inside the December 2018 “Celebrate” GlobeIn box!
Everything was shipped in a medium-sized green & white GlobeIn box.
A peek inside!
A small info booklet featured full color photos and background information on all of the products included in the box, as well as the artisans who created them.
Tropical Swirl Martini Glass (Set of 2), Mexico ($36 each)
It was a little hard to properly capture their vibrant colors in the photos above, but these tropical swirl martini glasses are SO pretty in person! They’re constructed of recycled glass and each one measures 6″ tall by 4.5″ in diameter. Each piece was individually crafted by Mexican glassblowers, making them truly one of a kind.
Multi-Color Handmade Papers Rosette, Nepal ($10)
Crafted from Nepalese handmade paper, this whimsical rosette is a simple way to add a splash of color to any decor. Every part of the rosette-making process is done by hand — from sourcing the bark, to making the paper pulp, to sewing it together, and painting/dyeing the finished piece. A lot of work went into making this 15-inch paper rosette!
Upcycled Sari Fabric Wraps (Set of 3), India ($38)
A team of India-based female artisans worked together to turn old saris/sarees into these upcycled fabric wraps. Each box included 3 different designs, which could vary from subscriber to subscriber. I received a cream & red floral print, a black & white grid design with pink roses, and a red tropical/floral print. GlobeIn suggests using these to wrap a gift, as a centerpiece runner, or even worn as a colorful shawl or bandana.
Yellow Rombo Palm Leaf Basket, Mexico ($15)
These signature baskets are included in many GlobeIn boxes and are woven entirely by hand. Each one can take hours to complete! This particular one is a bit taller than the standard baskets and measures approximately 6″ x 5″. Use it to store craft supplies, small toys, bathroom essentials, and more.
Just in time for holiday parties, December’s “Celebrate” themed GlobeIn box offers an opportunity to make them more colorful & eco-chic. My personal favorites this time were the beautiful tropical swirl martini glasses and the handmade paper rosette. — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first Premium box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
