Let’s see what’s inside the February 2019 “Masquerade” GlobeIn box!
Everything was shipped in a medium-sized green & white GlobeIn box.
A peek inside!
A small info booklet featured full color photos and background information on all of the products included in the box, as well as the artisans who created them.
Handblown Glasses with Handle – Set of 2, Mexico ($30)
Crafted entirely by Mexican artisans, no two of these handblown glasses are exactly alike — as you can clearly see from the noticeable differences in the photo directly above. The glasses each measure roughly 4 inches high and feature a green-colored rim & a handle for easy toasting.
Upcycled Gold and Sari Macrame Garland, India ($28)
This pretty garland is constructed of upcycled sarees/saris that were woven together by India-based artisans. It measures 80 inches long by 12 inches high and features vibrant colored “tassels” accented with metallic gold ribbon. I’m not sure where I’m going to hang this yet, but it’s really pretty!
Beaded Necklace – Set of 2, India ($12)
These aren’t your ordinary Mardi Gras beads… No cheap plastic here! — These necklaces are actually composed of hand-carved beads made from sustainably harvested wood. They measure 14 inches long and make a great statement piece or decoration for a carnival-themed get-together. You can also loop one around your wrist a few times and wear it as a bracelet. 🙂
Hand-Embroidered Mask, India ($20)
Enjoy the masquerade in style with this handmade and hand-embroidered carnival mask! It features bright, bold colors and has a “one size fits most” elastic strap. Wear it to a party or hang it on your wall as quirky decor.
Handsewn Mini Plush Animal, Sri Lanka ($4)
Aw, what a sweet little monkey! This tiny friend was handmade/hand-stitched by Sri Lankan artisans using traditional sewing techniques. He’s only a few inches long and my daughters have already taken him away to meet all of their other stuffed pals. 😉
I loved the fun carnival/Mardi Gras theme of February’s GlobeIn “Masquerade” box. — Everything was so colorful! My personal favorites were the Upcycled Sari Garland, Wooden Bead Necklaces, and the sweet little stuffed monkey. — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first Premium box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
