As always, everything was shipped in the signature green & white GlobeIn box.
A peek inside!
A small info booklet featured full color photos and background information on all of the products included in the box, as well as the artisans who created them.
Blue Ombre Reed Diffuser, Mexico ($20)
I’m a sucker for colored glass and this blue ombre jar is so pretty! It was hand-blown by artisans at the Cristaluc workshop in Tonalá and comes with a cork to keep it sealed. You won’t really need the cork, however, since this is intended to be a reed diffuser. To use, simply fill with 1/4 cup of your favorite base oil (coconut, sweet almond, safflower) and 20-25 drops of one or more essential oils. Place the included reed sticks in the bottle to soak one end, then flip them over to fill the air with fragrance.
Rasa Naturals Lavender Oil India ($12)
I have a TON of essential oils, but for those who don’t, GlobeIn also included a bottle of lavender oil to use in your new diffuser. Lavender is a great scent for promoting relaxation and is ideal to use right before bed. It’s also good for calming minor skin irritations like bug bites and burns.
Mini Usha Bells, India ($20)
I believe this is the third time I’ve received these bells in a subscription box and I absolutely LOVE them! Made by a community in the desert Kutch region of India, these rustic-looking bells are a mini version of the classic bells that farmers would use to identify their livestock. Each bell is hammered into shape from recycled tin & iron sheets and each one has its own unique sound.
Mala Beads, India ($20)
This handcrafted mala bead necklace is made with wooden beads and red cotton string. Malas are traditionally used to keep count while reciting mantras or affirmations. They typically consist of 108 beads, which are tracked with your fingers as your recite your mantra — one time for each bead. You can also simply hold the necklace in your hands during secular meditation in order to bring focus to your intention by their presence alone.
Blue Lineas Palm Leaf Basket, Mexico ($15)
These signature baskets are included in many GlobeIn boxes and are woven entirely by hand. Each one can take hours to complete! Use it to store craft supplies, small toys, bathroom essentials, and more. This month GlobeIn suggests using it to collect daily affirmations that you’ve written down on scraps of paper.
The Holstee Manifesto (Bonus Item!)
June’s box also included a bonus item. — A 5″ x 7″ print featuring the Holstee Manifesto. If you need a quick dose of motivation, this is it! 🙂
I absolutely LOVED June’s “Mindfulness” themed GlobeIn box! It’s absolutely one of my favorite collections to date. The reed diffuser is not only beautiful, but useful and I can’t wait to find the perfect spot to hang my little rustic windchime! 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first Premium box with coupon code “WELCOME“!
