GlobeIn is a monthly subscription box that features handcrafted goods by artisans around the world.
Each box features a themed collection of 4-5 hand-crafted items, produced by artisans from all around the world. There are more than 5 box themes available each month, and you have the opportunity to choose which one you’d like to receive. If you prefer to be surprised, you can also choose ‘Surprise’ and they’ll make the choice for you.
GlobeIn helps to bring income and exposure to small artists, while introducing you to beautiful pieces of their culture. Many of the products included are eco-friendly, fairly traded, and/or organic.

Round Straw Moroccan Bag, Morocco
I recently saw a similar bag to the one above while perusing the dresses at Target, so clearly it’s totally on trend. 😉 — Unlike the Target version, this one was handcrafted by artisans in the Moroccan town of Ain Jnane, a rural area that can only be accessed by driving up a winding road into the deep mountainside. For those who live in this rural city, it is known amongst its locals that “if you were born here, you will learn to weave.” The generously-sized bag is made of dried palm leaves and measures 12″W x 4″L x 12″H (25″H with straps).
Seed Bead Earrings, India
I no longer have pieced ears myself, but my 9-year-old daughter does and she loves these pretty seed bead earrings! The intricately-woven earrings were handcrafted in India by female artisans using tiny “seed” beads and metal wire. The green, blue, and white color scheme gives them seaside/nature-inspired vibes. 🙂
Light Indigo Bamboo Silk Scarf, India
Crafted by a team of India-based artisans, this indigo blue scarf is composed of bamboo silk — a natural textile made from bamboo tree cellulose. Despite the name, it contains no actual silk (a big plus for us vegans!). The cozy, yet lightweight scarf measures roughly 73″W x 19″H and features a fringe detail on the ends.
Sari Knotted Headband, India
The knotted headband above was handcrafted in India using fabric from upcycled saris. Second-hand saris are traded across North India before they are remade into new styles for the Western market by local tailors. Local artisans are then able to re-craft these disposed saris into beautifully innovative products like the Sari Knotted Headband, keeping them away from landfills and are given a second chance at life. Very cool!
The August 2021 GlobeIn “Beaut Box” included a nice collection of unique artisan-made fashion accessories. My favorite items were the Round Straw Moroccan Bag & Bamboo Silk Scarf, while my daughter is excited to wear her new Seed Bead Earrings! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first box with coupon code ARTISAN50!
