GlobeIn is a monthly subscription box that features handcrafted goods by artisans around the world.
Each box features a themed collection of 4-5 hand-crafted items, produced by artisans from all around the world. There are more than 5 box themes available each month, and you have the opportunity to choose which one you’d like to receive. GlobeIn helps to bring income and exposure to small artists, while introducing you to beautiful pieces of their culture. Many of the products included are eco-friendly, fairly traded, and/or organic.

A peek inside!
Instead of their previous booklet format, GlobeIn now sends an info card with a QR code which you can scan for full details about the items in each box. (You can also choose to simply go to the url printed on the card as well.)
Whitewashed Terracotta Llama Planter, Bangladesh
Okay, how adorable is this terracotta llama planter?! — I love him! 😀 The absolutely charming piece was designed and handcrafted by a talented team of Bangladesh-based female artisans. CORR The Jute Works, a women’s nonprofit and handicraft exporter, employs the women giving them access to a fair wage, healthcare, education, and alleviation from exploitation and domestic abuse. The (very heavy!) planter measures roughly 9 inches high by 6.7 inches long by 5.7 inches wide. It comes complete with a built-in drainage hole and is ready to house your favorite plant(s). 🙂
Indoor/Outdoor Tealight Lantern – Garden Party, India
Thanks to subscription boxes, I’ve found myself with a nice little collection of tealight lanterns — and I love every one of them. The pretty blue lantern above was handcrafted in India using stainless steel and enamel paint. It has a built-in handle for hanging and a twist-off bottom to hold a battery-operated candle. The lantern measures roughly 5.75 inches high and 5 inches in diameter.
Blue Pottery Herb Marker, India
The craft of blue pottery has been passed down for generations in Rajasthan and is considered to be a mystical trade because it incorporates five vital elements: air, fire, earth, water, and ether. The herb marker above features a geometric design inspired by regional flora and fauna. It measures roughly 5 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide.
The January 2022 GlobeIn “Bud II Box” included a fun collection of handcrafted garden-themed pieces. My favorite items were the adorable Whitewashed Terracotta Llama Planter and Indoor/Outdoor Tealight Lantern. So cute! 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first box with coupon code ARTISAN50!
