Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box that delivers five hand-picked beauty products straight to your doorstep — all in a sturdy reusable box.
The packaging is top notch and only the highest quality brands are included. Like many of the other beauty subscriptions, you’ll fill out a personal beauty profile when you sign up so that they can send products that best suit your lifestyle, skin type, etc. They also have a great rewards system where you can earn credits for reviewing the products you receive in your box, referring friends, and more.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $21/month or less with multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can get your first box for only $10 when you use coupon code “10WENDYROSE” at checkout!
Let’s see what’s in my February 2022 Glossybox!
As mentioned earlier, everything comes in a sturdy lidded box that’s great for repurposing. — This month, subscribers received one of two different box colors — black (shown above) or white.
A peek inside!
An info sheet revealed the contents of February’s Glossybox — along with descriptions, retail prices, and tips for using each item.
Ekos Murumuru Restoring Shampoo & Conditioner ($4.70 value)
I received this month’s box shortly before going on an overnight trip with my husband, so the travel-sized shampoo & conditioner set above couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Both are made with Brazilian Murumuru butter, which helps to protect & soften your hair while removing impurities and leaving it silky smooth. While I appreciate the cute design of the bottles, I have to admit that the narrow necks made it a bit tricky to get the product out (mainly the thicker conditioner).
NCLA Beauty Nail Lacquer in “Back to Black” ($16 value)
Woo! I got the black one!! — Like the box itself, subscribers received NCLA nail polish in one of two different shades — white or black. Needless to say, I was thrilled to get the black version. 😀 While I don’t rock the punk/goth nail look quite as often as I did in my teens & twenties, it’s still fun to go back to my roots every now and then. 😉 (In fact, I’m wearing this very polish as I type… And I kinda love it.)
Verso Skincare Nourishing Cream ($27 value)
This ultra-hydrating face cream contains a high concentration of Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) to improve the skin’s natural protection and make the skin look soft and smooth. It also increases the skin’s resistance against the visible effects of environmental stressors, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and visibly reducing temporary redness. With a $27 value for about 1/2 an ounce of product, this stuff has to be good. 😉
KAB Cosmetics Cream Lipstick in “Sweetheart” ($18 value)
I’m usually not much of a lipstick-wearer, so I was surprised to find myself applying this not just once — but on two separate occasions this past weekend. “Sweetheart” is a nice subtle pink shade that gives just the right amount of color without looking too “there”. Its formula is creamy, cruelty-free, and smells like vanilla cupcakes!
Vita Liberata Fabulous Self Tanning Gradual Lotion ($5 value)
You can still achieve a summer glow during these colder winter months with a little help from the self tanning lotion above. Formulated with aloe vera and shea butter, this hydrating lotion provides a gradual/natural looking tan with repeated use. It even applies clear for zero transfer onto clothing.
Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks ($6 value)
A sixth product — “an extra treat” — was also included in the form of a pair of Rodial Dragon’s Blood eye masks. These masks are designed to hydrate and de-puff the area beneath your eyes for a fresh, rejuvenated appearance. They’re formulated with hyaluronic acid (to retain moisture), arnica extract (to reduce puffiness & dark circles), and dragon’s blood (from the Croton Lechleri tree – to firm & smooth).
The February 2022 Glossybox included a great assortment of skincare, makeup, and pampering items. My personal favorites this time were the NCLA Beauty Nail Lacquer, Ekos Murumuru Shampoo & Conditioner Duo, and KAB Cosmetics Lipstick in Sweetheart. The total retail value of everything in February’s box was an impressive $76.70! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for only $10 when you use coupon code “10WENDYROSE” at checkout!
