Let’s see what’s in my October 2017 Glossybox!
The signature pink box.
A peek inside!
An info sheet revealed the contents of October’s box — along with descriptions, retail prices, and tips for using each item.
Rituals Happy Buddha Foaming Shower Gel ($15)
I’m normally a natural bar soap girl, but I may need to mix things up a bit with this foaming shower gel simply because it smells SO nice! It has notes of sweet orange and cedar, which give it a fresh/clean aroma that I can’t get enough of. Mmm! Hands-down my favorite item in this month’s box.
LUÉ by Jean Seo Erase Brightening Powder ($15)
This simple cleanser has just 3 ingredients: organic oat flour, organic non-fat milk powder, and magnesium carbonate. It claims to reduce the appearance of imperfections by removing blackheads, softening hyper-pigmentation, and reducing large pores. To use, mix a tablespoon of Erase with a half tablespoon of water and blend into a paste. Apply to face and allow to dry for one minute, then massage it away to reveal brighter skin.
Clove + Hallow Lip Glaze in “Spicy” ($15)
A vegan-friendly, cruelty-free lip glaze made with 99% natural (64% organic) ingredients. It’s infused with nourishing botanicals including jojoba oil and shea butter to hydrate while giving your lips a touch of shine. Subscribers could have received “Angelic” (a pinkish, more neutral shade) or “Spicy”, the rosy/fuchsia color shown above.
Vasanti Cosmetics Eyeshadow Brush ($21)
This specially shaped brush is specifically designed for shading and contouring the eye area. It’s made with 100% high quality synthetic hairs, making it cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. Yay!
JAFRA Girl Squad Eau de Toilette (~$4.50)
I didn’t mind the scent of this fragrance, but I also didn’t love it enough to actually wear it. It features notes of white nectarine, purple freesia, and vanilla. Not bad, but not as nice as the pure essential oils that I currently wear. 😉
Another nice selection of skincare & beauty products from Glossybox! My favorite items this month were the Rituals Happy Buddha foaming shower gel and Vasanti eyeshadow brush. I would have also been into the Clove + Hallow lip glaze if they had sent me the “Angelic” version instead of “Spicy”. Ah well. As always, the total retail value was impressive at roughly $70 in products! 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time, you can get your first 3 boxes for just $10 each with coupon code “TABLET”!
