September 2017 Glossybox review time!
If you’re not aware, Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box that sends 5-6 deluxe sized samples packed inside a super sturdy, reusable box. The packaging is top notch and only the highest quality brands are included. Like many of the other beauty subscriptions, you’ll fill out a personal beauty profile when you sign up so that they can send products that best suit your lifestyle, skin type, etc. They also have a great rewards system where you can earn points for reviewing the products you receive in your box. Once you’ve accumulated 1,000 points, you’ll earn a free month.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $21/month and shipping is free. — For a limited time, you can get your first 3 boxes for just $15 each with coupon code “FALL15”!
Let’s see what’s in my September 2017 Glossybox!
The signature pink box.
A peek inside!
An info sheet revealed the contents of September’s box — along with descriptions, retail prices, and tips for using each item.
Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Multi-Correcting Cream (~$8)
This multi-correcting day cream offers 24-hour hydration, along with SPF 20 protection. It also helps seal in moisture to plump up skin and visibly reduces the appearance of pores, wrinkles, & fine lines. Safe for all skin types.
Lancôme Advanced Génifique Sensitive Antioxidant Serum (~$15)
A “fresh activated” serum that you “mix” by pressing down on the blue portion to release it into the base concentrate (larger portion). It claims to instantly soothe your skin and protect it from environmental damage, as well as give it extra strength against free radicals with extended use.
Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer ($9)
One beauty box item that I’m almost always happy to see is nail polish! This one from Morgan Taylor — “Magician’s Assistant” — is a pretty beige/gray/slightly lavender shade with a bit of an iridescent shine. Subscribers could have received this, or “Pretty Wild” (a deeper, more purple shade).
Freeman Beauty Infusion Cleansing Clay Mask ($8)
This FULL SIZE serum-infused facial mask contains charcoal to help draw oils & toxins out of your skin, while nourishing it with probiotics & nutrients derived from yogurt, fruit, and minerals. It’s safe for all skin types and is both paraben and sulfate free.
Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator ($29)
Manna Kadar’s Sheer Glo Illuminator is an incandescent liquid that lights up the skin with an all-over radiance. Mix with your favorite foundation or wear alone to achieve a youthful glow and dewy finish. Can be used on face and body for an all-over glow.
Pureology Clean Volume Shampoo & Conditioner (~$10)
It’s always nice to get trial size bottles of shampoo & conditioner to set aside for travel. Pureology Clean Volume is specially formulated for fine, color treated hair and is 100% vegan-friendly!
Another nice selection of skincare & beauty products from Glossybox! My favorite items this month were the Morgan Taylor nail lacquer and the Pureology shampoo & conditioner set. The total retail value was roughly $80! 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time, you can get your first 3 boxes for just $15 each with coupon code “FALL15”!
