Let’s see what’s in the Spring 2016 Happy Rebel Box!
The box!
A peek inside. The box contents were all individually wrapped in black tissue paper and surrounded by black squigglies. (Translation: The black on black contents were super hard to photograph against a white background so I’m just telling you — instead of actually showing you — how it looked. 😉 )
A tri-fold info card/booklet included an introduction to the box along with descriptions, photos, and retail values for each of the items inside. The theme for Spring 2016 was “Girls Night Out”.
Marlyn Schiff Chunky Chain Statement Necklace ($78) – I was so happy to see silver jewelry featured in their debut box! This bold, chunky statement necklace isn’t something I’d normally pick out, but it’s totally growing on me. I like the combination of sophisticated clear stones with worn-looking metal. It’s what you’d get if you mated a bike chain with a chandelier. And I dig it. 😉
Deux Lux Croc Embossed Vegan Clutch ($58) – Honestly, while I LOVE the fact that this clutch is vegan-friendly, that’s sort of the only thing I like about it. Not that there’s anything wrong with it — it’s just not my style. It features an embossed vegan leather with a snakeskin design and silver accents. It also has a zippered inside pocket and was presented in its own cloth storage bag.
Essie Cashmere Matte “Spun in Luxe” Nail Polish ($8) – Now this, I 100% LOVE! I’m a big fan of Essie and bright/dark blue is one of my favorite polish shades. I’ll definitely be rocking this soon. 🙂
EyLure Lashes Texture No. 154 ($8) – These reusable lashes feature a layered look with a generous shorter length style that creates a dense finish. Adhesive is also provided. False lashes kinda of terrify me, since I’m super squeamish about putting anything on/in my eyes. That said, I’ll be passing these along to someone a little braver than I. 😉
Arbotique Designs Sterling Silver Midi Rings ($12) – More silver jewelry! I love the simplicity of these midi rings and the fact that they’re made with real sterling silver. I also like that I can fit them on my ring finger. haha… I’ve never actually tried to wear a midi ring where intended because I’m afraid it would constantly feel like it was slipping off. Is that weird?
Lindt Lindor Truffle – A single chocolate truffle was also included in the box. — Just a little bonus treat.
I’m definitely impressed with the Spring debut box from Happy Rebel! While I wasn’t crazy about the clutch, I really like the fun statement necklace, midi rings, and Essie polish. If I were braver I’d try out the lashes, but… I’m not. 😉 The total retail value of everything was an impressive $164. Nice! Oh, and remember — you can save $50 off an annual plan when you use my exclusive coupon code “ROSEBUDS50” at checkout!

Did you pay for your box? it sounds written as someone who got it free. it would be good to know when you pay vs free.
