Let’s see what’s in the October 2016 Holly Journals box!

A peek inside!

A welcome card revealed the theme of this month’s box — “Falling for October”. It also listed the full contents of the box, as well as the bonus gifts.

The Journal – I absolutely love all things autumn, so I was excited to see this adorable fall-inspired journal! As mentioned earlier, it’s completely handmade and consists of at least 50 2-sided pages of various paper materials.

From the moment you open it up, you know this isn’t your ordinary, run-of-the-mill journal.

Pages of various sizes, colors, and textures are interspersed among autumnal quotes, envelopes, paper bags, and other random do-dads.

There were even library book sign out cards and fall-themed bingo boards (shown a couple photos above).

October Journal Prompts – As promised, there was a helpful list of journal prompts/inspiration to help you get your creative juices flowing.

Pens – Two pens were included — one with white ink and one with black, along with a graphite pencil for sketching.

Dangle Charm – I wasn’t quite sure what this was for when I pulled it out of the box, but I knew that I liked it. 😉 Turns out it’s a dangle charm to hang on your journal (I’m guessing the spiral part?) to give it a little bling. It just screams “autumn” and I love it.

Embellishments – A variety of stickers, labels, paperclips, and tags were provided to add even more color to the pages of your journal.

Bonus Gifts – The bonus items for October were a packet of caramel flavored hot cocoa, as well as three candy sticks in orange, butterscotch, and root beer.

What a fun box!
