The box itself is pretty, sturdy, and certainly repurpose-worthy. 🙂
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the items in August’s box, along with brief descriptions, photos, and retail values.
BECCA Poured Shimmering Skin Perfector in “Opal” ($38) – I didn’t realize it while editing, but this photo looks a LOT more orange than the actual color of the product is. It’s more of a white/beige-y/opal color in person. This cream formula features multi-toned, ultrafine pigment pearls that adjust to your skin’s natural undertones, accentuating the high points of the face with a pretty shimmer.
Karuna Exfoliating Foot Masks ($21) – These fancy foot “masks” (one mask per packet) help to gently exfoliate dead skin cells and reveals fresher, smoother looking skin. Just slip the plastic booties on, secure them with the self-adhesive strip, and relax for 10-20 minutes while the serum does its job.
FANCY Zen Hand Fan ($27) – This designer folding hand fan is made of eco-friendly cherry wood and cotton. It measures 16 inches from end to end when opened and features a pretty Japanese cherry blossom inspired print. Each of FANCY’s designs are limited edition and imported from Tel Aviv, Israel.
Shea Terra Organics African Black Soap ($8) – 100% natural bar soap made with virgin coconut cream oil, African black soap (cocoa pod ash, plaintain peel ash, palm oil, camwood), certified organic shea butter, extra virgin olive oil, and other natural ingredients. This formula is designed to clear up blemishes by breaking up dead skin cells to revealing smoother, younger looking skin. I’m sold!
Mountain Rose Hibiscus High Tea and Bag ($8) – I was a little surprised to see an actual drinking tea in this box — I definitely thought it was a tea bath at first. This caffeine-free blend consists of organic hibiscus flowers, rosehips, lemongrass, orange peel, spearmint, rose petals and stevia. It looks and smells awesome. 🙂
I really like that Indigo Beaux includes a good mix of both beauty and lifestyle items. My favorite item this month was definitely the African black soap. I’m all about natural bar soaps and that one sounds perfect for my occasional breakouts. All totaled, August’s retail value was roughly $102. Nice!
