Inedible Treats is a monthly subscription box from Marvin’s Corner, an online shop that specializes in handcrafted food jewelry.
Each box will include 2-3 early release or exclusive Marvin’s Corner pieces, extras related to the specific monthly theme, and coupons/discount codes. All jewelry pieces are handmade using polymer clay and other materials. Items can include necklaces, earrings, keychains, charms, and more.
Subscriptions are $30/month (shipping included) and promise a value of $50+.
Let’s see what’s in the July 2015 Inedible Treats box!
The “treats” were shipped in a small white box via first class mail.
A menu/info card was pasted to the inside lid. It listed all of the items I’d find inside, as well as an exclusive coupon code to use on future purchases. The theme for July was “S’mores”!
A recipe for S’mores dip was also included. It sounds really good and I might just have to try to make a vegan version.
S’mores Necklace ($15?) – What a fun necklace for summertime! — Two teeny graham crackers are sandwiched together with a melted marshmallow and chocolate to form the cutest little S’more I’ve ever seen. You can’t tell from the photo, but part of the marshmallow is even painted to look “toasted”. Cuuuute!
Jar of Marshmallows Keychain ($13?) – Tiniest. Marshmallows. EVER. An itty bitty jar with even itty bittier marshmallows inside. SO dang cute. I don’t want to risk losing this, so I think I’m just going to set it on a shelf so I can admire it’s adorable-ness. 🙂
Toasted Marshmallow Scented Marker – I thought scented markers were the coolest when I was a kid… Turns out, they still kinda are.
Camping Stickers – A variety of camping/s’mores themed stickers were also included. Great for scrapbooking, crafts, or handing off to your toddler to stick all over the house (fun!).
The July Inedible Treats box was beyond — dare I use this word again — CUTE! I’ve always loved miniature things (and of course food), so I was super excited about this box. Value-wise, I’m not quite sure it lived up to its $50 promise, but based on similar pieces in their shop, the value of the 2 pieces was almost $30… So right in line with the actual subscription cost.

What a cute little box! Love the necklace! I would say $50 is a hefty price for these two little guys, but they look good enough to eat!!

The value definitely seems closer to $30, but super cute pieces either way. 🙂
