Ipsy is a beauty subscription that sends subscribers a monthly “Glam Bag” full of cosmetics and beauty accessories for just $13/month.
When you sign up, you take a “beauty quiz” to determine your likes/dislikes, makeup preferences, etc. This helps Ipsy learn which products to send in your Glam Bag. Each bag will contain 4-6 full sized and deluxe sample sized products from top cosmetics brands.
Disclosure: Bag was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Many different brand/product variations are sent each month, so you’ll see that other subscribers may have gotten totally different products than you did. If all goes well, your beauty quiz answers will match you with products that most meet your needs… But honestly, even if you only like one or two of the products, for $13 shipped it’s still a pretty good deal. (Plus, you’ll always get a cute new bag!)
Subscriptions are $13/month with free shipping within the US (only $2.95 extra to Canada).
Let’s see what’s in my February 2022 Ipsy bag!
Everything was shipped in a pink bubble mailer with the Ipsy logo in the center.
A personalized info card listed all of the items I’d find in February’s bag, along with photos, brief descriptions, and retail values for each one.
The bag itself had serious Valentine’s Day vibes with its bold red background and allover pink heart design. It featured a gold zipper closure with a coordinating heart-shaped zipper pull. Cute!
Time to see what’s inside!
Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling Mascara
This long-lasting mascara features a Hook ‘n’ Roll™ brush that grabs, separates, lifts and curls for big, bold lashes. It’s formulated with provitamin B5 and serin to condition your lashes while achieving maximum curl & hold. It’s also water-resistant and stays put for up to 12 hours.
Kokie Cosmetics Gel-Ink Dual Ended Eyeliner
I don’t wear eyeliner as often as I once did, but it’s still nice to have on hand for special occasions when I want to go beyond my minimal (aka lazy) “eyeshadow only” look. 😉 The dual ended liner above features a precise, liquid liner on one side and a gel pencil liner on the other. It’s ideal for achieving the perfect cat eye and is formulated to last hours without smudging.
Minetan Rapid Recovery Moisturizing Lotion
Suitable for all skin types, this ultra moisturizing lotion is designed to protect, replenish and restore hydration to transform dry, flaky, tired skin in an instant. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid and ceramides to help increase hydration wherever you need it — from your head to your toes. For best results, apply to damp skin after showering.
Complex Culture Time Pressed Lip Balm
This vegan-friendly balm is enriched with naturally moisturizing ingredients including vitamin E, jojoba oil and squalane to provide maximum relief for dry, chapped lips. It’s also infused with antioxidant-packed pomegranate flower extract and features a fresh, minty scent. Wear it alone or layered under other lip products for added softness & shine.
MOTD Cosmetics E333 – Your Time to Shine Makeup Brush
Designed by a makeup artist, this precision tipped brush features high-quality synthetic bristles that are tapered so you can confidently apply and blend your favorite highlighting products without streaks or fallout. It can be used for both loose & pressed highlighter and is vegan & cruelty-free. 🙂
I haven’t reviewed Ipsy in quite a while, so I was excited when they offered to send me their latest offering. My personal favorites from February’s bag were the Minetan Rapid Recovery Lotion, Kokie Cosmetics Gel-Ink Dual Ended Eyeliner, and Complex Culture Time Pressed Lip Balm. With a total listed retail value of over $50, you can’t go wrong for just $13! 🙂
