Ipsy is a beauty subscription that sends subscribers a monthly “Glam Bag” full of cosmetics and beauty accessories for just $13/month.
When you sign up, you take a “beauty quiz” to determine your likes/dislikes, makeup preferences, etc. This helps Ipsy learn which products to send in your Glam Bag. Each bag will contain 4-6 full sized and deluxe sample sized products from top cosmetics brands. Products can include makeup, skincare, hair care, nail care, and even beauty tools.
Disclosure: Bag was received for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate links.
Many different brand/product variations are sent each month, so you’ll see that other subscribers may have gotten totally different products than you did. If all goes well, your beauty quiz answers will match you with products that most meet your needs… But honestly, even if you only like one or two of the products, for $13 shipped it’s still a pretty good deal. (Plus, you’ll always get a cute new bag!)
Subscriptions are $13/month with free shipping within the US (only $2.95 extra to Canada).
Let’s see what’s in my March 2022 Ipsy bag!
Everything was shipped in a pink bubble mailer with the Ipsy logo in the center.
An info card revealed the theme of the March 2022 Glam Bag and included a sampling of the ingredients featured in this month’s products.
The bag itself was a solid powder blue, almost lavender shade with a white strap/handle on the front and the phrase “POWER MOVES” printed in pink block lettering. It also featured a neon green zipper closure with a coordinating circle-shaped pull. To be honest, it’s probably one of my least favorite bags to date but I’m sure my kiddos will be happy to use it. 😉
A peek at the contents!
First Aid Beauty Hydrating Eye Cream with Hyaluronic Acid
I’m not thrilled about being at the age where eye creams are a necessity, but here I am. 😉 First Aid Beauty’s Hydrating Eye Cream promises to diminish the look of fine lines, puffiness, and dryness with the help of plumping hyaluronic acid, de-puffing caffeine, and soothing colloidal oatmeal. The formula is both cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, which is always appreciated.
F.A.R.A.H. Eyeshadow Duo in Blossom & Breeze
This cute little mini palette includes two great neutral shades. “Blossom” (on the left) is a nice matte peach, while “Breeze” is darker matte tan/taupe. They can be worn alone or paired together for a finished look. I typically only wear eye shadow these days, so I was happy to see this item included in my Glam Bag. 🙂
Firma Beauty 202 Angled Blender Pro
Firma Beauty’s 202 Angled Blender Pro brush features a unique combo — soft and fluffy, but with an angled edge — that makes blending a piece of cake. It’s also great for precision work, buffing out concealer or eyeshadow, and more. Plus, the bristles are both cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.
INC.REDIBLE “Hint of Chill” Hemp Hydration Jelly
Give your lips a dose of hydration and a subtle peach-colored tint with this lip jelly from INC.CREDIBLE. The super shiny formula is infused with cannabis sativa seed oil to nourish, hydrate, and even help plump lips. It smells nice too, with its slightly sweet scent of white tea.
M2Ü NYC Luminizer in Mermaid Tears
I had never heard of M2Ü NYC, but was happy to discover that they offer high-quality makeup that promises to be 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and easily affordable. Nice! 🙂 The luminizer above is a fluid format highlighter designed to blend seamlessly onto cheekbones for a “dewy, ethereal glow with a pearly and luminescent finish”. It can also be blended with your favorite foundation for an all-over shimmer for your special nights out.
My March 2022 Ipsy Glam Bag included a nice selection of both skincare and cosmetic products. My personal favorites were the First Aid Beauty Hydrating Eye Cream, F.A.R.A.H. Eyeshadow Duo, and INC.REDIBLE Hemp Hydration Jelly. 🙂
