Here’s my second Citrus Lane box for July. My mom also has a subscription for the girls that she aged up a bit, so I get to review two boxes. Woo! (Sadly, I think this is her last month… Boo.)
Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (cheaper with longer subs) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom.
This month’s box featured products that are great for travel and “on-the-go”. As always, I had already seen plenty of spoilers and pretty much knew what would be in my box. That said, I was still excited to see (confirm?) what was inside. Also, I have no idea exactly how old my mom aged up her box, so I’m never quite sure what range it falls in.
From the looks of other reviews, I’d say we probably got a 3-year old’s box or close to it. Okay, so let’s see what’s inside, shall we?
The info card. I honestly don’t know what the items have to do specifically with travel, but the products themselves looked decent enough…
Dorothy Doll from North American Bear Company – Aww! Such a sweet little dolly! She’s all dressed up to look like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, complete with blue & white checkered dress and Toto the dog peeking out of her pocket. My husband wondered where her red slippers were, which I didn’t even think of. I guess this was before she got ’em? Whatever, she’s still adorable. Oh, and there’s even a little elastic loop on her back so kiddos can use her as a finger puppet! (Amazon Price: $9.60)
Match Stacks from Tree Hopper Toys – I’ve seen these before and they seem like great learning toys. This is a set of 16 wooden discs with printed numbers/images from 1-8. You can use them to play real memory when your children are old enough, and “face-up” memory when they’re smaller. It’s great for learning numbers, matching skills, vocabulary, and more. Comes in a convenient storage canister. (Amazon Price: $19.90)
Pur-Lisse Pur-Lip Comfort Daily Lip Nourisher – Pur-Lisse strikes again! This time, it’s a “lip nourisher” though, so that’s a nice change. I have enough moisturizer & sunscreen to last for years. This can be used alone, or under lipstick/gloss for a smoother, ultra moisturizing application. (Amazon Price: $16.00)
Plum Organic Mash Ups in Blueberry Blitz – I’m always happy to get more fruit & veggie pouches. My girls love ’em and I love that they’re made with 100% real fruits and vegetables. Yay! (Amazon Price: roughly $1.00 for one pouch)
As with the first one, I was also pretty happy with my second July Citrus Lane box. The doll is super adorable, the Match Stacks will be great for helping the girls learn their numbers, and the other two items will totally get used. All totaled, the items in this box have a value of $46.50! One of the higher value boxes I’ve gotten from them in quite a while. Yay!
If you’d like to try Citrus Lane for yourself, you can score your first box for just $9.00 shipped (save $20!) use the promo code “TAKE20OFF“. That’s a seriously great deal!

I got the same exact box except I had animals on my stackable things and a ballerina instead of Dorothy. I wasn’t thrilled with it. If I had paid $30 I would really be mad!! I think I have one more month to go on my subscription and then I may be canceling.
