Kites & Ivy is a subscription box that sends an assortment of products geared towards college women.
They send two care packages per semester, which include a back to school box, a holiday box, a spring break box, and a finals survival box. Items can range from bath & beauty products to fashion accessories, school supplies, snacks, and more.
Subscriptions are $32.99 for a single box, and less with the purchase of 2 semesters or more.
Let’s see what’s in the Kites & Ivy 2015 Finals Survival Box!
Everything was shipped in a smallish white box with a blue Kites & Ivy logo on top.
A peek inside!
The info card included a welcome note on the front and a list of all the items (with prices) on the back.
Rooted Beauty Raspberry Citrus Invigorating Facial Wipes ($5.99) – These raspberry citrus scented wipes are biodegradable, paraben-free, hypoallergenic, and gluten-free. They’re made with green coffee which delivers helpful antioxidants to your skin. A portion of the sales of this product goes to help women in need.
MagSoul KnotTwisted Headband ($10) – A handmade headband that’s made for “the girl who can’t wear headbands”. It can be adjusted to make it as tight or loose as you’d like.
Kenra Platinum Dry Shampoo ($22) – I really wish I could get into the dry shampoo craze, but I just can’t. Maybe it would be different if I were still in college? Anywhooo… This is a full sized dry shampoo powder that instantly revives and refreshes your hair by absorbing icky oils.
21 Drops Focus Essential Oil Blend (sample) – A little sample of an essential oil blend that promotes clarity and focus. It features rosemary, peppermint, and frankincense.
Salazon Chocolate Bar ($4) – An organic chocolate bar made with dark chocolate, sea salt, and caramel. The chocolate is not only organic, but also non-GMO and fair trade. I was crossing my fingers that this would be vegan, but alas, it was not.
Mason Jar Tumbler ($3.99) – This 24 ounce plastic mason jar tumbler comes with a matching straw and is BPA-free. The bright purple color is very pretty!
Nuun Energy Drink ($0.50) – I’ve tried a couple of these in the past, thanks to other subscription boxes. They’re little tablets that fizz in water, resulting in an instant flavored energy drink.
Kites & Ivy would have been a fun box to receive when I was in college for sure! It would have sure beaten waiting for the rare occasions that my mom would send me a care package. Plus, most of hers consisted mainly of Fruit Roll-Ups. (Sorry mom!) Anyway, this was a great box with ideal products for finals time (or anytime really).
