The KitTea Kit is a subscription box that sends you a variety of cat-related goodies every month.
Each box will feature a new theme with 3-5 products made by cat-loving artists. Items can include lapel pins, socks, stickers, buttons, patches, and other cute kitty-centric accessories. The subscription was created by KitTea, San Francisco’s first and only cat cafe. KitTea provides high-quality care to their resident rescue felines and works with local cat rescues & shelters to find their featured adoptable cats a forever home at each cat’s own pace. The box helps support Wonder Cat Rescue and their adoptable rescue kitties.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $30/month.
Let’s see what’s in November’s KitTea Kit!
Everything shipped in a small blue box with the KitTea logo on top.
A peek inside!
An info/thank you card revealed the theme of November’s box — “Cats as Food”! (Which my husband pointed out sounds like they’re promoting the eating of cats. Totally not the case!! Though I do see his point. 😉 )
The Pink Samurai Catucopia Lapel Pin ($10)
This limited edition Thanksgiving 2017 lapel pin from The Pink Samurai features an adorable gray kitty sitting inside of a festive cornucopia. He appears awfully cozy & content — despite having a large apple perched upon his head. The pin is made of hard enamel with a gold finish and measures 1 inch height.
Amber Morgan Designs Cat Vegetable Stickers ($5)
Awwww! How stinkin’ adorable are these little veggie cats?! Cleary, this is what they meant by “cats as food”. 😀 There are a total of 12 different designs included and I love them all! Though if I really had to choose, I’d say my favorite would be the confused looking lettuce kitty. Ha!
My Cat is People But Furrst Pumpkin Spice! Pin ($11)
Even cats have fallen victim to the pumpkin spice craze! This calico kitty didn’t even bother to remove his teeny bowtie before diving into a mug of seasonal deliciousness. Not a fan of pumpkin spice? Just call it a latte! Kitty won’t out you. 😉
My Cat is People Pumpkin Cat Pin ($2.25)
Another seasonally appropriate item from My Cat is People, this 1.5″ pin features a fluffy yellow & white kitty all decked out in autumn-y goodness. He’s bundled up in his (her?) scarf & hat whilst carrying a plump pumpkin through the falling leaves. Autumn overload!! 😀
The KitTea Kit is fun subscription for cat lovers who like to accessorize and show off their cat lady (or gent) pride. I like that they source their items from independent artists, making the contents feel all the more special. The monthly cost does seem a bit high to me, but considering November’s offering included $28.25 in products, it’s actually not too unreasonable after all. 🙂
