While I never did receive November’s box for review (fulfillment issues?), December’s Kloverbox made it to me by the end of the month. (I just haven’t gotten a chance to review it until now.)
If you’re not aware, Kloverbox is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly products ranging anywhere from snacks and personal products to makeup, household goods, and more. The purpose of the box is to introduce you to “cleaner” versions of the products you use on a daily basis.
Subscriptions are $25/month (shipping included) or less with longer commitments. (Psst… You can save 10% off any length subscription when you use my exclusive coupon code “2LRB10” at checkout!!)
Let’s see what’s in the December 2015 Kloverbox!
The box was long and narrow this month and didn’t include the usual handwritten thank you note.
December’s theme was “All is Calm, All is Bright”. As always, the info card included descriptions, retail prices, and discounts for each item.
Dermadeli Calm Chamomile Exfoliating Scrub ($21) – A gentle exfoliating scrub made with all natural ingredients including sugar, colloidal oats, flax, bamboo powder, and ginseng powder. Just mix about a teaspoon of the scrub in your hand with a few drops of water to form a creamy consistency and cleanse away!
Harvey Prince Organics “Hello” Tall Spray ($28) – This perfume spray is 100% cruelty-free and vegan! Notes include meyer lemon, white grapefruit, summer forsythia, pink plumeria, sensual musk, and more. I was hoping the citrus scents would overpower the floral ones, but not so much. I’ve been all about using essential oils for personal fragrance lately, so I passed this along to my mom.
Balanced Guru Soothe Me Day and Night Body Oil ($19.99) – A 100% natural body oil that’s safe for everyone — including babies and expectant moms. It contains a blend of plant-based ingredients including olive oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, arnica extract, and encapsulated shiitake mushrooms & goji berries. It’s fast-absorbing and can be used on both wet and dry skin.
Kiss Me Honey Mint Lip Balm ($4.99) – An all natural peppermint-flavored lip balm made with organic ingredients. I think I currently have about 8,239 lip balms, so I’ll just toss this into the pile. 😉
I was kinda hoping for at least one lifestyle item to be included in December’s Kloverbox, but what can ya do. I also wasn’t crazy about the perfume inclusion, since scent preferences vary a lot from person to person. That said, the value was very impressive at over $70! Can’t argue with that. 🙂
If you’d like to check out Kloverbox for yourself, you can save 10% off any length subscription when you use my exclusive coupon code “2LRB10” at checkout!
